(Ps 1,1)5Ich meide die Zusammenkünfte derer, die Böses tun, und habe mit Gottlosen nichts zu schaffen. (Ps 1,1; Ps 31,7; Ps 139,21)6Ich wasche meine Hände, um meine Unschuld zu zeigen, und trete vor deinen Altar, HERR, (Ps 43,3)7um laut ein Danklied zu singen, das von allen deinen Wundern erzählt. (Ps 9,2)8HERR, ich liebe das Haus, in dem du wohnst, und den Ort, der von deiner Herrlichkeit erfüllt ist. (Ps 27,4)9Bestrafe mich nicht wie Sünder und verurteile mich nicht mit den Mördern. (Ps 28,3)10Ihre Hände sind schmutzig von ihren bösen Taten, und ihre Taschen füllen sie mit Geschenken.11Ich aber bin aufrichtig und ehrlich, deshalb rette mich und sei barmherzig. (Ps 26,1; Ps 44,27; Ps 69,19)12Jetzt stehe ich auf sicherem Grund, deshalb lobe ich den HERRN vor allen Menschen. (Ps 22,23; Ps 27,11; Ps 40,3)
1LORD, when you hand down your sentence, let it be in my favour. I have lived without blame. I have trusted in the LORD. I have never doubted him.2LORD, test me. Try me out. Look deep down into my heart and mind.3I have always remembered your love that never fails. I have always depended on the fact that you are faithful.4I don’t spend time with people who tell lies. I don’t keep company with pretenders.5I hate to be with a group of sinful people. I refuse to spend time with those who are evil.6I wash my hands to show that I’m not guilty. LORD, I come near your altar.7I shout my praise to you. I tell about all the wonderful things you have done.8LORD, I love the house where you live. I love the place where your glory is.9Don’t destroy me together with sinners. Don’t take away my life along with murderers.10Their hands are always planning to do evil. Their right hands are full of money that has bought their help.11But I live without blame. Save me from harm and treat me with kindness.12My feet stand on level ground. In the whole community I will praise the LORD.

(Ps 9,1)8O Lord, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells. (Ps 27,4)9Do not sweep my soul away with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men, (Ps 28,3)10in whose hands are evil devices, and whose right hands are full of bribes. (2Mo 23,8; 5Mo 16,19)11But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; redeem me, and be gracious to me.12My foot stands on level ground; in the great assembly I will bless the Lord. (Ps 22,25; Ps 27,11)
