1The word of the Lord came to me:2‘Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices3and say, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.4On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths.5No-one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised.6‘ “Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, ‘Live!’[1]7I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.8‘ “Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.9‘ “I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you.10I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments.11I adorned you with jewellery: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace round your neck,12and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.13So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.14And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendour I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.15‘ “But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favours on anyone who passed by and your beauty became his.16You took some of your garments to make gaudy high places, where you carried on your prostitution. You went to him, and he possessed your beauty.[2]17You also took the fine jewellery I gave you, the jewellery made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them.18And you took your embroidered clothes to put on them, and you offered my oil and incense before them.19Also the food I provided for you – the flour, olive oil and honey I gave you to eat – you offered as fragrant incense before them. That is what happened, declares the Sovereign Lord.20‘ “And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols. Was your prostitution not enough?21You slaughtered my children and sacrificed them to the idols.22In all your detestable practices and your prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, kicking about in your blood.23‘ “Woe! Woe to you, declares the Sovereign Lord. In addition to all your other wickedness,24you built a mound for yourself and made a lofty shrine in every public square.25At every street corner you built your lofty shrines and degraded your beauty, spreading your legs with increasing promiscuity to anyone who passed by.26You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your neighbours with large genitals, and aroused my anger with your increasing promiscuity.27So I stretched out my hand against you and reduced your territory; I gave you over to the greed of your enemies, the daughters of the Philistines, who were shocked by your lewd conduct.28You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians too, because you were insatiable; and even after that, you still were not satisfied.29Then you increased your promiscuity to include Babylonia,[3] a land of merchants, but even with this you were not satisfied.30‘ “I am filled with fury against you,[4] declares the Sovereign Lord, when you do all these things, acting like a brazen prostitute!31When you built your mounds at every street corner and made your lofty shrines in every public square, you were unlike a prostitute, because you scorned payment.32‘ “You adulterous wife! You prefer strangers to your own husband!33All prostitutes receive gifts, but you give gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favours.34So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no-one runs after you for your favours. You are the very opposite, for you give payment and none is given to you.35‘ “Therefore, you prostitute, hear the word of the Lord!36This is what the Sovereign Lord says: because you poured out your lust and exposed your naked body in your promiscuity with your lovers, and because of all your detestable idols, and because you gave them your children’s blood,37therefore I am going to gather all your lovers, with whom you found pleasure, those you loved as well as those you hated. I will gather them against you from all around and will strip you in front of them, and they will see you stark naked.38I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood; I will bring on you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger.39Then I will deliver you into the hands of your lovers, and they will tear down your mounds and destroy your lofty shrines. They will strip you of your clothes and take your fine jewellery and leave you stark naked.40They will bring a mob against you, who will stone you and hack you to pieces with their swords.41They will burn down your houses and inflict punishment on you in the sight of many women. I will put a stop to your prostitution, and you will no longer pay your lovers.42Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.43‘ “Because you did not remember the days of your youth but enraged me with all these things, I will surely bring down on your head what you have done, declares the Sovereign Lord. Did you not add lewdness to all your other detestable practices?44‘ “Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’45You are a true daughter of your mother, who despised her husband and her children; and you are a true sister of your sisters, who despised their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.46Your elder sister was Samaria, who lived to the north of you with her daughters; and your younger sister, who lived to the south of you with her daughters, was Sodom.47You not only followed their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they.48As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.49‘ “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.50They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.51Samaria did not commit half the sins you did. You have done more detestable things than they, and have made your sisters seem righteous by all these things you have done.52Bear your disgrace, for you have furnished some justification for your sisters. Because your sins were more vile than theirs, they appear more righteous than you. So then, be ashamed and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.53‘ “However, I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and of Samaria and her daughters, and your fortunes along with them,54so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in giving them comfort.55And your sisters, Sodom with her daughters and Samaria with her daughters, will return to what they were before; and you and your daughters will return to what you were before.56You would not even mention your sister Sodom in the day of your pride,57before your wickedness was uncovered. Even so, you are now scorned by the daughters of Edom[5] and all her neighbours and the daughters of the Philistines – all those around you who despise you.58You will bear the consequences of your lewdness and your detestable practices, declares the Lord.59‘ “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant.60Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.61Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both those who are older than you and those who are younger. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on the basis of my covenant with you.62So I will establish my covenant with you, and you will know that I am the Lord.63Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.” ’

War nicht schon deine Hurerei genug, (2Ki 16:3; 2Ki 21:6; Ps 106:37; Jer 7:31; Eze 23:37; Eze 23:39)21dass du noch meine Kinder geschlachtet und sie dahingegeben hast, indem du sie für jene [durchs Feuer] gehen ließest? (Eze 16:20)22Und bei allen deinen Gräueln und deinen Hurereien hast du nicht an die Tage deiner Jugend gedacht, wie du damals nackt und bloß dalagst und in deinem Blut zappeltest! (2Ch 28:25; Eze 16:31; Eze 16:39; Eze 20:28)25An allen Weggabelungen hast du deine Höhen gebaut, und du hast deine Schönheit geschändet; du spreiztest deine Beine gegen alle, die vorübergingen, und hast immer schlimmer Hurerei getrieben. (2Ki 17:9; 2Ki 21:3; 2Ch 21:11; Eze 16:31; Eze 23:9; Re 17:16)26Du hurtest mit den Söhnen Ägyptens, deinen Nachbarn, die großes Fleisch hatten, und hast immer mehr Hurerei getrieben, um mich zum Zorn zu reizen. (Eze 20:7; Eze 23:19)27Aber siehe, da streckte ich meine Hand gegen dich aus und minderte dir deine Kost; und ich gab dich dem Mutwillen deiner Feindinnen, der Töchter der Philister, preis, die sich vor deinem verruchten Treiben schämten. (Ps 106:40; Jer 12:7; Eze 16:37; Eze 16:57)28Da hurtest du mit den Söhnen Assyriens, weil du unersättlich warst. Du hurtest mit ihnen, wurdest aber doch nicht satt. (Jer 2:18; Jer 2:36; Eze 23:5; Eze 23:12; Ho 10:5)29Da triebst du noch mehr Hurerei, bis hin zu dem Händlerland Chaldäa. Aber auch da wurdest du nicht satt. (Eze 23:14)30Wie schmachtete dein Herz, spricht GOTT, der Herr, als du dies alles triebst, das Treiben eines zügellosen Hurenweibs, (Ps 78:36; Pr 7:11; Jer 3:3; Re 17:1)31dass du deine Götzenkapellen an jeder Weggabelung bautest und deine Höhen an jeder Straße machtest. Nur darin warst du nicht wie eine andere Hure, dass du den Hurenlohn verschmähtest. (Ge 38:16; Eze 16:25; Eze 16:33; Ho 12:12)32O du ehebrecherische Frau, die Fremde annimmt anstatt ihres Ehemannes! (Jer 3:8; Jer 3:20; 2Co 11:2)33Sonst gibt man allen Huren Lohn; du aber gibst allen deinen Liebhabern Lohn und beschenkst sie, damit sie von allen Orten zu dir kommen und Hurerei mit dir treiben! (Ge 38:16; De 23:18; Isa 57:9; Ho 8:9)34Es geht bei dir in der Hurerei umgekehrt wie bei anderen Frauen: Dir stellt man nicht nach, um Hurerei zu treiben; denn da du Hurenlohn gibst, dir aber kein Hurenlohn gegeben wird, ist es bei dir umgekehrt.

35Darum, du Hure, höre das Wort des HERRN! (Eze 13:2; Eze 21:3; Ho 4:1)36So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Weil du dein Geld so verschwendet hast und mit deiner Hurerei deine Blöße gegen alle deine Liebhaber aufgedeckt und gegen alle deine gräuelhaften Götzen entblößt hast, und wegen des Blutes deiner Kinder, die du ihnen geopfert hast, (Jer 2:34; Eze 16:20; Eze 23:18)37darum siehe, will ich alle deine Liebhaber versammeln, denen du gefallen hast, alle, die du geliebt, und alle, die du gehasst hast: Ja, ich will sie von allen Seiten ringsum gegen dich versammeln und deine Blöße vor ihnen aufdecken, dass sie deine ganze Blöße sehen sollen. (Eze 23:22; Ho 8:9; Na 3:5; Re 17:16)38Ich will dir auch das Urteil sprechen, wie man den Ehebrecherinnen und Mörderinnen das Urteil spricht, und an dir das Blutgericht vollziehen mit Grimm und Eifer. (Le 20:9; Nu 35:31; De 4:24; De 22:22; Eze 23:45)39Und ich will dich in ihre Gewalt geben, und sie werden deine Götzenkapellen abbrechen und deine Höhen umreißen; sie werden dir deine Kleider ausziehen; sie werden dir allen deinen kostbaren Schmuck nehmen und dich nackt und bloß liegen lassen. (Le 26:30; Eze 23:26; Ho 2:5; Ho 2:12)40Sie werden auch eine Versammlung gegen dich aufbieten; sie werden dich steinigen und dich mit ihren Schwertern erschlagen. (2Ch 36:17; Jer 25:9; Eze 23:46)41Sie werden deine Häuser mit Feuer verbrennen und an dir das Strafgericht vollziehen vor den Augen vieler Frauen. So will ich deiner Hurerei ein Ende machen, und du wirst künftig auch keinen Hurenlohn mehr geben. (Job 34:26; Jer 52:13; Eze 5:8; Eze 5:15; Eze 7:2; Eze 23:48; Ho 2:19; Mic 5:12)42Und ich will meinen grimmigen Zorn an dir stillen; und dann wird sich mein Eifer von dir abwenden, und ich werde Ruhe finden und nicht mehr zornig sein. (Isa 40:2; Isa 54:6; Eze 5:13)43Weil du nicht an die Tage deiner Jugend gedacht hast, sondern durch dies alles dich wie wild gegen mich gewandt hast, siehe, so will auch ich dir deinen Wandel auf deinen Kopf bringen, spricht GOTT, der Herr, damit du nicht zu allen deinen Gräueln noch weitere Schandtaten verübst! (Ps 78:5; Jer 2:6; Eze 7:3; Eze 9:10; Eze 16:22; Eze 22:31; Ob 1:15)44Siehe, alle Spruchdichter werden auf dich dieses Sprichwort anwenden: »Wie die Mutter, so die Tochter!« (1Ki 9:7; Jer 24:9)45Du bist die Tochter deiner Mutter, die ihren Mann und ihre Kinder verschmähte, und du bist die Schwester deiner Schwestern, die ihre Männer und Kinder verschmähten. Eure Mutter war eine Hetiterin und euer Vater ein Amoriter. (Eze 16:3; Eze 16:15; Eze 16:20; Eze 23:37)46Deine ältere Schwester ist Samaria mit ihren Töchtern, die zu deiner Linken wohnen; deine jüngere Schwester aber, die zu deiner Rechten wohnt,[3] ist Sodom mit ihren Töchtern. (De 32:32; Isa 1:10; Isa 10:11; Jer 23:13; Jer 23:14; Eze 23:33)47Auf ihren Wegen bist du nicht gewandelt, und nach ihren Gräueln hast du nicht gehandelt, sondern, wie wenn dies zu wenig gewesen wäre, hast du es in all deinem Wandel schlimmer getrieben als sie. (2Ki 21:9; Eze 5:6; Eze 16:48; Eze 16:51)48So wahr ich lebe, spricht GOTT, der Herr, deine Schwester Sodom mit ihren Töchtern hat nicht so [übel] gehandelt, wie du und deine Töchter gehandelt haben! (Mt 10:15; Lu 10:12; Lu 12:48)49Siehe, das war die Sünde deiner Schwester Sodom: Hochmut, Speise in Fülle und sorglose Ruhe wurde ihr und ihren Töchtern zuteil; aber dem Armen und Bedürftigen reichten sie nie die Hand, (Ge 13:10; De 32:15; Pr 16:18; Isa 13:11; Isa 47:8; Jer 49:16; Eze 16:56)50sondern sie waren stolz und verübten Gräuel vor mir; deswegen habe ich sie auch hinweggetan, als ich es sah. (Ge 18:20; Ge 19:24; 2Pe 2:6)51Auch Samaria hat nicht halb so viel gesündigt wie du; sondern du hast viel mehr Gräuel verübt als sie, sodass du deine Schwestern gerecht erscheinen ließest durch alle deine Gräuel, die du begangen hast! (Jer 3:8; Eze 16:46; Mt 12:41)52So trage nun auch du deine Schande, die du für deine Schwestern eingetreten bist durch deine Sünden, mit denen du größere Gräuel begangen hast als sie, sodass sie gerechter dastehen als du! Darum schäme du dich auch und trage deine Schande, weil du deine Schwestern gerechtfertigt hast! (Jer 3:25; Jer 23:40; Eze 16:54; Eze 36:32; Eze 43:11; Ro 2:1)53Ich will aber ihr Geschick wenden, das Geschick Sodoms und ihrer Töchter und das Geschick Samarias und ihrer Töchter; auch das Geschick deiner Gefangenschaft in ihrer Mitte will ich wenden, (Isa 19:24; Jer 29:14; Jer 33:26; Ro 11:23; Ro 11:26; Ro 11:29)54damit du deine Schande trägst und dich alles dessen schämst, was du getan hast, wodurch du ihnen zum Trost dientest. (Eze 16:52; Eze 16:63; Eze 36:31)55So werden deine Schwestern, Sodom und ihre Töchter, wieder zur ihrem früheren Stand zurückkehren; auch Samaria und ihre Töchter sollen wieder zu ihrem früheren Stand zurückkehren; und du und deine Töchter, ihr sollt auch in euren früheren Stand zurückkehren. (Eze 16:53; Eze 36:11; Mal 3:4)56Es war von deiner Schwester Sodom nichts zu hören aus deinem Mund zur Zeit deines Stolzes, (Ps 50:20; Isa 65:5; Lu 18:11)57ehe deine Bosheit auch an den Tag kam, zu der Zeit, da die Töchter Arams und alle ihre Nachbarn dich schmähten und die Töchter der Philister dich ringsum verachteten. (Eze 16:27)58Deine Verdorbenheit und deine Gräuel, wahrlich, du musst sie tragen, spricht der HERR. (Ge 4:13; La 5:7; Eze 16:52; Eze 23:49)59Denn so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Ich handle an dir, wie du gehandelt hast! Du hast den Eid verachtet, den Bund gebrochen. (De 29:25; Isa 3:11; Isa 24:5; Jer 22:9; Eze 7:8; Eze 7:27; Eze 17:15; Eze 17:19)60Aber ich will an meinen Bund gedenken, den ich mit dir geschlossen habe in den Tagen deiner Jugend, und ich will einen ewigen Bund mit dir aufrichten. (Ps 106:45; Isa 55:3; Jer 32:40; Eze 16:8; Eze 37:26)61Dann wirst du an deine Wege gedenken und dich schämen, wenn du deine älteren und jüngeren Schwestern zu dir nehmen wirst, die ich dir zu Töchtern geben will, obgleich nicht aufgrund deines Bundes. (Ezr 9:6; Isa 60:4; Jer 31:32; Eze 16:54; Eze 20:43; Eze 43:11; Zec 2:11; Ro 6:21; Ro 11:17)62Aber ich will meinen Bund mit dir aufrichten, und du sollst erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin, (Eze 15:7; Eze 20:44; Ho 2:20)63damit du daran denkst und dich schämst und vor Scham den Mund nicht auftust, wenn ich dir alles vergebe, was du getan hast, spricht GOTT, der Herr. (Job 40:4; Ps 130:4; Eze 16:61; Ro 3:19)
1Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir: (Eze 23:1)2Du Menschenkind, tu kund der Stadt Jerusalem ihre Gräuel3und sprich: So spricht Gott der HERR zu Jerusalem: Nach Herkunft und Geburt bist du aus dem Lande der Kanaaniter, dein Vater war ein Amoriter, deine Mutter eine Hetiterin.4Bei deiner Geburt war es so: Als du geboren wurdest, hat man deine Nabelschnur nicht abgeschnitten; auch hat man dich nicht mit Wasser gebadet, damit du sauber würdest, dich nicht mit Salz abgerieben und nicht in Windeln gewickelt.5Denn niemand sah mitleidig auf dich und erbarmte sich, dass er etwas von all dem an dir getan hätte, sondern du wurdest aufs Feld geworfen. So verachtet war dein Leben, als du geboren wurdest.6Ich aber ging an dir vorüber und sah dich in deinem Blut strampeln und sprach zu dir, als du so in deinem Blut dalagst: Du sollst leben! Ja, zu dir sprach ich, als du so in deinem Blut dalagst: Du sollst leben7und heranwachsen; wie ein Gewächs auf dem Felde machte ich dich. Und du wuchsest heran und wurdest groß und sehr schön. Deine Brüste wuchsen und du bekamst lange Haare; aber du warst noch nackt und bloß.8Und ich ging an dir vorüber und sah dich an, und siehe, es war die Zeit, um dich zu werben. Da breitete ich meinen Mantel über dich und bedeckte deine Blöße. Und ich schwor dir’s und schloss mit dir einen Bund, spricht Gott der HERR, und du wurdest mein. (Ex 19:5; Ru 3:9)9Und ich badete dich mit Wasser und wusch dich rein von deinem Blut und salbte dich mit Öl10und kleidete dich mit bunten Kleidern und zog dir Schuhe von feinem Leder an. Ich gab dir einen Kopfbund aus kostbarem Leinen und hüllte dich in Seide.11Ich schmückte dich mit Kleinoden und legte Spangen an deine Arme und eine Kette um deinen Hals12und gab dir einen Ring an deine Nase und Ohrringe an deine Ohren und eine schöne Krone auf dein Haupt.13So warst du geschmückt mit Gold und Silber und gekleidet mit kostbarem Leinen, Seide und bunten Kleidern. Du aßest feinstes Mehl, Honig und Öl und wurdest überaus schön und kamst zu königlichen Ehren.14Und dein Ruhm erscholl unter den Völkern deiner Schönheit wegen, die vollkommen war durch den Schmuck, den ich dir angelegt hatte, spricht Gott der HERR.15Aber du verließest dich auf deine Schönheit. Und weil du so gerühmt wurdest, triebst du Hurerei und botest dich jedem an, der vorüberging, und warst ihm zu Willen. (Jer 2:20)16Du nahmst von deinen Kleidern und machtest dir bunte Opferhöhen und triebst auf ihnen deine Hurerei, wie es nie geschehen ist noch geschehen wird.17Du nahmst auch dein schönes Geschmeide, das ich dir von meinem Gold und Silber gegeben hatte, und machtest dir Bilder von Männern daraus und triebst deine Hurerei mit ihnen. (Ho 8:4)18Und du nahmst deine bunten Kleider und bedecktest sie damit, und mein Öl und Räucherwerk legtest du ihnen vor.19Meine Speise, die ich dir zu essen gab, feinstes Mehl, Öl und Honig, legtest du ihnen vor zum lieblichen Geruch. Ja, es kam dahin, spricht Gott der HERR,20dass du deine Söhne und Töchter nahmst, die du mir geboren hattest, und opfertest sie ihnen zum Fraß. War es denn noch nicht genug mit deiner Hurerei, (De 12:31; 2Ki 16:3; Jer 7:31; Eze 20:26; Eze 23:37)21dass du meine Kinder schlachtetest und ließest sie für die Götzen verbrennen?22Und bei all deinen Gräueln und deiner Hurerei hast du nie gedacht an die Zeit deiner Jugend, wie du bloß und nackt warst und strampelnd in deinem Blute lagst.23Und nach all diesen deinen Übeltaten – o weh, weh dir!, spricht Gott der HERR –24bautest du dir einen Hurenaltar und machtest dir ein Lager darauf an allen Plätzen. (Jer 11:13)25An jeder Straßenecke bautest du dein Hurenlager und machtest deine Schönheit zum Abscheu. Du spreiztest deine Beine für alle, die vorübergingen, und triebst viel Hurerei.26Zuerst triebst du Hurerei mit den Ägyptern, deinen Nachbarn voller Geilheit, und triebst viel Hurerei, um mich zu reizen.27Ich aber streckte meine Hand aus gegen dich und minderte deinen Anteil und gab dich preis der Willkür derer, die dich hassen, der Töchter der Philister, die sich schämten über dein schamloses Treiben.28Danach triebst du Hurerei mit den Assyrern, weil du nicht satt geworden warst; du triebst mit ihnen Hurerei und wurdest auch hier nicht satt. (Eze 23:12)29Da triebst du noch mehr Hurerei mit Chaldäa, dem Land der Händler; doch auch da wurdest du nicht satt.30Wie fieberte doch dein Herz, spricht Gott der HERR, dass du alle diese Werke einer großen Erzhure tatest:31dass du deinen Hurenaltar bautest an allen Straßenecken und dir ein Hurenlager machtest auf allen Plätzen! Dazu warst du nicht wie sonst eine Hure; denn du hast ja Geld dafür verschmäht. –32Diese Ehebrecherin! Fremde nimmt sie statt ihres Mannes!33Allen andern Huren gibt man Geld; du aber gibst allen deinen Liebhabern noch Geld dazu und kaufst sie, damit sie von überall her zu dir kommen und mit dir Hurerei treiben.34So ist es bei dir mit deiner Hurerei umgekehrt wie bei andern Frauen, weil man dir nicht nachläuft und dir nicht Geld gibt, sondern du noch Geld dazugibst; bei dir ist es also umgekehrt.35Darum, du Hure, höre des HERRN Wort!36So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil du bei deiner Hurerei deine Scham entblößtest und deine Blöße vor deinen Liebhabern aufdecktest und wegen all deiner gräulichen Götzen und wegen des Blutes deiner Kinder, die du ihnen geopfert hast:37Darum, siehe, ich will sammeln alle deine Liebhaber, denen du gefallen hast, alle, die du geliebt, samt allen, die du verschmäht hast, und will sie gegen dich versammeln von überall her und will ihnen deine Blöße aufdecken, dass sie deine ganze Blöße sehen sollen. (Jer 13:26)38Und ich will dich richten, wie man Ehebrecherinnen und Mörderinnen richtet; ich lasse Grimm und Eifer über dich kommen. (Le 20:10)39Und ich will dich in ihre Hände geben, dass sie deinen Hurenaltar abbrechen und dein Lager einreißen und dir deine Kleider ausziehen und dein schönes Geschmeide dir nehmen und dich nackt und bloß liegen lassen.40Und sie sollen eine Versammlung gegen dich einberufen und dich steinigen und mit ihren Schwertern zerhauen (De 22:23)41und deine Häuser mit Feuer verbrennen und an dir das Gericht vollstrecken vor den Augen vieler Frauen. So will ich deiner Hurerei ein Ende machen und auch Geld sollst du nicht mehr dafür geben. (2Ki 25:9)42Dann kommt mein Grimm gegen dich zum Ziel, und mein Eifer lässt von dir ab, sodass ich Ruhe habe und nicht mehr zürnen muss.43Weil du nicht gedacht hast an die Zeit deiner Jugend, sondern mich mit all dem zum Zorn gereizt hast, darum will ich auch all dein Tun auf deinen Kopf kommen lassen, spricht Gott der HERR. Hast du nicht Unzucht getrieben zu all deinen Gräueltaten hinzu?44Siehe, wer gern in Sprichwörtern redet, wird von dir dies Sprichwort sagen: »Wie die Mutter, so die Tochter.«45Du bist die Tochter deiner Mutter, die ihren Mann und ihre Kinder von sich stieß, und bist die Schwester deiner Schwestern, die ihre Männer und Kinder von sich stießen. Eure Mutter war eine Hetiterin und euer Vater ein Amoriter. (Eze 3:1)46Deine große Schwester ist Samaria mit ihren Töchtern, die dir zur Linken wohnt, und deine kleine Schwester ist Sodom mit ihren Töchtern, die zu deiner Rechten wohnt.47Es war dir nicht genug, in ihren Wegen zu gehen und nach ihren Gräueln zu tun; du hast es noch ärger getrieben als sie in all deinem Tun.48So wahr ich lebe, spricht Gott der HERR: Sodom, deine Schwester, samt ihren Töchtern hat’s nicht so getrieben wie du und deine Töchter. (Mt 10:15)49Siehe, das war die Schuld deiner Schwester Sodom: Stolz und alles in Fülle und sorglose Ruhe hatte sie mit ihren Töchtern; aber dem Armen und Elenden halfen sie nicht,50sondern waren hoffärtig und taten Gräuel vor mir. Darum habe ich sie auch hinweggetan, wie du gesehen hast. (Ge 19:24)51So hat auch Samaria nicht die Hälfte deiner Sünden getan, sondern du hast so viel mehr Gräuel getan als deine Schwestern, dass sie gerecht dastehen gegenüber all den Gräueln, die du getan hast. (Jer 3:11)52So trag du nun auch deine Schande, weil du an die Stelle deiner Schwestern getreten bist durch deine Sünden, mit denen du größere Gräuel getan hast als sie; sie stehen gerechter da als du. So schäme du dich nun auch und trag deine Schande, während deine Schwestern gerecht dastehen.53Ich will aber ihr Geschick wenden, nämlich das Geschick Sodoms und ihrer Töchter und das Geschick Samarias und ihrer Töchter und auch dein Geschick in ihrer Mitte, (De 30:3)54dass du deine Schande tragen musst und dich über all das schämst, was du getan hast, ihnen zum Trost.55Und deine Schwestern, Sodom und ihre Töchter, sollen wieder werden, wie sie zuvor gewesen sind, und Samaria und ihre Töchter sollen wieder werden, wie sie zuvor gewesen sind; und auch du und deine Töchter sollen wieder werden, wie ihr zuvor gewesen seid.56Und hast du nicht über deine Schwester Sodom gelästert zur Zeit deines Hochmuts,57als deine Blöße noch nicht aufgedeckt war, wie zur Zeit, als dich die Töchter Edoms und die Töchter der Philister überall schmähten und dich ringsumher verachteten?58Deine Schandtat und deine Gräuel – die musst du tragen, spricht der HERR.59Denn so spricht Gott der HERR: Ich will dir tun, wie du getan hast, als du den Eid verachtet und den Bund gebrochen hast.60Ich will aber gedenken an meinen Bund, den ich mit dir geschlossen habe zur Zeit deiner Jugend, und will mit dir einen ewigen Bund aufrichten. (Le 26:45; Jer 31:31; Eze 8:1; Eze 37:26; Ho 2:17)61Dann wirst du an deine Wege denken und dich schämen, wenn ich deine großen und kleinen Schwestern nehmen und sie dir zu Töchtern geben werde, aber nicht um deines Bundes willen. (Eze 20:43)62Und ich will meinen Bund mit dir aufrichten, sodass du erfahren sollst, dass ich der HERR bin,63damit du daran denkst und dich schämst und vor Schande deinen Mund nicht mehr aufzutun wagst, wenn ich dir alles vergeben werde, was du getan hast, spricht Gott der HERR. (Eze 36:31)
