1Sing a new song to the LORD. He has done wonderful things. By the power of his right hand and his holy arm he has saved his people.2The LORD has made known his power to save. He has shown the nations that he does what is right.3He has shown his faithful love to the people of Israel. People from one end of the earth to the other have seen that our God has saved us.4Shout for joy to the LORD, everyone on earth. Burst into joyful songs and make music.5Make music to the LORD with the harp. Sing and make music with the harp.6Blow the trumpets. Give a blast on the ram’s horn. Shout for joy to the LORD. He is the King.7Let the ocean and everything in it roar. Let the world and all who live in it shout.8Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing together with joy.9Let them sing to the LORD, because he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the nations of the world in keeping with what is right and fair.

Invito a lodare il giusto Giudice
1Salmo. Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, perché egli ha operato prodigi; la sua destra e il suo braccio santo lo hanno reso vittorioso.2Il Signore ha fatto conoscere la sua salvezza, ha manifestato la sua giustizia davanti alle nazioni.3Si è ricordato della sua bontà e della sua fedeltà verso la casa d’Israele; tutte le estremità della terra hanno visto la salvezza del nostro Dio.4Acclamate il Signore, abitanti di tutta la terra, date in canti di gioia e di lode,5salmeggiate al Signore con la cetra, con la cetra e la voce del canto.6Con trombe e al suono del corno acclamate il re, il Signore.7Risuoni il mare e quanto contiene, il mondo e i suoi abitanti.8I fiumi battano le mani, esultino insieme i monti davanti al Signore. Poiché egli viene a governare la terra;9egli governerà il mondo con giustizia, e i popoli con rettitudine.
