Salmo de Asaf.

1 El Dios de dioses, el SEÑOR, ha convocado a toda la humanidad, desde el oriente hasta el occidente. 2 Dios resplandece desde Sion, la ciudad bella y perfecta. 3 Nuestro Dios, con rugir de trueno se acerca; todo lo destruye con fuego a su paso, y en torno suyo ruge la tormenta. 4 El cielo y la tierra serán sus testigos cuando él juzgue a su pueblo: 5 «Reúnan a mi pueblo: a los que han hecho un pacto conmigo mediante un sacrificio». 6 El cielo proclama la justicia divina, porque Dios mismo es el juez. 7 ¡Escucha, pueblo mío, que voy a hablar! Estas son mis acusaciones en contra tuya, Israel. ¡Porque yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo! 8 No tengo queja alguna por los sacrificios o las ofrendas quemadas que traes a mi altar, pues los traes con regularidad. 9 Pero no son los toros de tu establo ni las cabras de tu aprisco lo que quiero; 10 pues todos los animales del bosque son míos, y del ganado de mil colinas yo soy dueño. 11 Cada ave de los montes y todos los animales del campo me pertenecen. 12 Si tuviera hambre, no te lo diría; porque mío es el mundo y todo lo que en él hay. 13 No necesito tus toros de sacrificios ni la sangre de tus machos cabríos. 14 Lo que quiero de ti es verdadera gratitud a Dios; quiero que cumplas tus promesas al Altísimo. 15 Confía en mí en tus tribulaciones para que yo te libre y puedas darme la gloria. 16 Pero al malvado dice Dios: No recites más las leyes mías y deja de fingir que me obedeces, 17 pues has rechazado mi disciplina, y menospreciado mis leyes. 18 Ves a un ladrón, y le ayudas y pasas el tiempo en compañía de adúlteros. 19 Tu boca se llena de perversidades y tu lengua de mentiras. 20 Calumnias a tu hermano, al hijo de tu misma madre. 21 Mientras hiciste todo esto, yo guardé silencio; pensaste que nada me importaba, pero ahora llegó el momento de reprenderte, y plantearé la lista de acusaciones contra ti. 22 Arrepiéntanse todos los que se han olvidado de Dios, antes que los despedace y nadie pueda ayudarlos. 23 Pero el que me ofrenda su gratitud, me honra. Los que andan por mis sendas recibirán salvación del SEÑOR.

7 “Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
