1 اللهُ يَتَرَأَّسُ سَاحَةَ قَضَائِهِ، وَعَلَى القُضَاةِ يُصْدِرُ حُكْماً. 2 حَتَّى مَتَى تَقْضُونَ بِالظُّلْمِ وَتَنْحَازُونَ إِلَى الأَشْرَارِ؟ 3 احْكُمُوا لِلذَّلِيلِ وَالْيَتِيمِ. وَأَنْصِفُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْبَائِسَ. 4 أَنْقِذُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْفَقِيرَ؛ أَنْقِذُوهُمَا مِنْ قَبْضَةِ الأَشْرَارِ. 5 هُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَعْرِفَةٍ وَفَهْمٍ، يَتَمَشَّوْنَ فِي الظُّلْمَةِ وَتَتَزَعْزَعُ أُسُسُ الأَرْضِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ الْجَوْرِ. 6 أَنَا قُلْتُ: «إِنَّكُمْ آلِهَةٌ، وَجَمِيعَكُمْ بَنُو الْعَلِيِّ. 7 لَكِنَّكُمْ سَتَمُوتُونَ كَالْبَشَرِ، وَتَنْتَهِي حَيَاتُكُمْ مِثْلَ كُلِّ الرُّؤَسَاءِ». 8 قُمْ يَا اللهُ قُمْ. دِنِ الأَرْضَ، لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَمْتَلِكُ الأُمَمَ بِأَسْرِهَا.

1 A Psalm of Asaph. God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: (1صم 28:13; 2أخ 19:5; مز 50:1; مز 58:11; جا 5:8; إش 3:13) 2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? (تث 1:17; أم 18:5) 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. (مز 10:18; مز 41:1; إر 22:3) 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” (أي 29:12; أم 24:11) 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. (مز 10:6; مز 11:3; مز 14:4; أم 2:13; مي 3:1) 6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; (مز 82:1; يو 10:34) 7 nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”[1] (أي 21:32; مز 49:12; حز 28:2; حز 31:14) 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations! (مز 2:8; مز 12:5; رؤ 11:15)
