لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ. عَلَى السُّوسَنِّ.

1 أَصْغِ يَا رَاعِيَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، يَا مَنْ قُدْتَ (قَوْمَ) يُوسُفَ كَالْقَطِيعِ. تَجَلَّ يَا مَنْ بِنِعْمَتِكَ تَجْلِسُ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ فَوْقَ الْكَرُوبِيمِ 

2 اسْتَثِرْ قُوَّتَكَ الْعَظِيمَةَ أَمَامَ أَفْرَايِمَ وَبَنْيَامِينَ وَمَنَسَّى، وَتَعَالَ لإِنْقَاذِنَا. 

3 يَا اللهُ رُدَّنَا إِلَيْكَ وَأَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَلَيْنَا فَنَخْلُصَ. 

4 يَا رَبُّ إِلَهَ الْجُنُودِ، إِلَى مَتَى تَظَلُّ غَاضِباً عَلَى صَلاةِ شَعْبِكَ. 

5 لَقَدْ أَطْعَمْتَهُمْ خُبْزَ الدُّمُوعِ وَسَقَيْتَهُمْ كُؤُوساً طَافِحَةً بِالْعَبَرَاتِ 

6 جَعَلْتَنَا مَصْدَرَ نِزَاعٍ لِجِيرَانِنَا وَمَثَارَ هُزْءٍ لأَعْدَائِنَا. 

7 يَا إِلَهَ الْجُنُودِ رُدَّنَا إِلَيْكَ، وَأَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَلَيْنَا فَنَخْلُصَ. 

8 نَقَلْتَ كَرْمَةً (أَيْ الشَّعْبَ) مِنْ مِصْرَ. طَرَدْتَ أُمَماً وَغَرَسْتَهَا مَكَانَهُمْ. 

9 أَوْسَعْتَ لَهَا فَتَأَصَّلَتْ جُذُورُهَا فِي الْعُمْقِ وَمَلأَتِ الأَرْضَ. 

10 غَطَّى الْجِبَالَ ظِلُّهَا، وَشَابَهَتْ أَغْصَانُهَا الأَرْزَ الْعَظِيمَ، 

11 مَدَّتْ قُضْبَانَهَا إِلَى الْبَحْرِ الْمُتَوَسِّطِ وَفُرُوعَهَا إِلَى نَهْرِ الْفُرَاتِ. 

12 لِمَاذَا هَدَمْتَ سِيَاجَهَا فَيَقْطِفَهَا كُلُّ عَابِرِي الطَّرِيقِ؟ 

13 يُتْلِفُهَا الْخِنْزِيرُ الطَّالِعُ مِنَ الْغَابَةِ، وَيَرْعَاهَا وَحْشُ الْبَرَارِي. 

14 يَا إِلَهَ الْجُنُودِ ارْجِعَنَّ. تَطَلَّعْ مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَانْظُرْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْكَرْمَةِ وَتَعَهَّدْهَا بِنِعْمَتِكَ. 

15 (تَفَقَّدْ) هَذِهِ الكَرْمَةَ الَّتِي غَرَسَتْهَا يَمِينُكَ، وَابْنَ آدَمَ الَّذِي اخْتَرْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ. 

16 لَقَدْ أَحْرَقَهَا أَعْدَاؤُنَا بِالنَّارِ. لَيْتَهُمْ مِنْ زَجْرِ طَلْعَتِكَ يَبِيدُونَ. 

17 لِتَكُنْ يَدُكَ عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ الْجَالِسِ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ، عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الَّذِي اخْتَرْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ، 

18 فَلَا نَرْتَدَّ عَنْكَ. أَحْيِنَا فَنَدْعُوَ بِاسْمِكَ. 

19 يَا رَبُّ يَا إِلَهَ الْجُنُودِ رُدَّنَا إِلَيْكَ، وَأَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَلَيْنَا فَنَخْلُصَ.

Restore Us, O God

1 To the choirmaster: according to Lilies. A Testimony. Of Asaph, a Psalm. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth. (خر 25:22; 1صم 4:4; 2صم 6:2; مز 50:1; مز 50:2; مز 60:1; مز 77:20; مز 78:67; مز 81:5; مز 95:7; مز 99:1) 

2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might and come to save us! (عد 2:18; مز 35:23; مز 118:14; مز 118:21) 

3 Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved! (عد 6:25; مز 4:6; مز 60:1; مز 80:19; مز 85:4; مرا 5:21) 

4 O Lord God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers? (مز 59:5; مز 74:10; مز 79:5) 

5 You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink in full measure. (1مل 22:27; مز 42:3; مز 102:9; إش 30:20) 

6 You make us an object of contention for our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. (مز 44:13) 

7 Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved! (مز 80:3) 

8 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. (مز 44:2; إش 5:1; إش 27:2; إر 2:21; إر 12:10; حز 17:6; مت 21:33; مر 12:1; لو 20:9) 

9 You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. (يش 24:12) 

10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches. 

11 It sent out its branches to the sea and its shoots to the River. (مز 72:8) 

12 Why then have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit? (مز 89:40; إش 5:5) 

13 The boar from the forest ravages it, and all that move in the field feed on it. (إر 5:6) 

14 Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine, (إش 63:15) 

15 the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself. 

16 They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your face! (مز 39:11; مز 76:6; إش 33:12) 

17 But let your hand be on the man of your right hand, the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself! (مز 89:21) 

18 Then we shall not turn back from you; give us life, and we will call upon your name! (مز 71:20) 

19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved! (مز 80:3; مز 80:7)
