تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ

1 أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِيَّاكَ أَدْعُو مِنَ الأَعْمَاقِ. 

2 فَاسْمَعْ يَا رَبُّ صَوْتِي، وَلْتَكُنْ أُذُنَاكَ مُرْهَفَتَيْنِ إِلَى صَوْتِ تَضَرُّعِي. 

3 إِنْ كُنْتَ يَا رَبُّ تَتَرَصَّدُ الآثَامَ، فَمَنْ يَسْتَطِيعُ الْوُقُوفَ فِي مَحْضَرِكَ؟ 

4 وَلأَنَّكَ مَصْدَرُ الْغُفْرَانِ فَإِنَّ جَمِيعَ النَّاسِ يَهَابُونَكَ. 

5 انْتَظَرْتُكَ يَا رَبُّ. نَفْسِي تَنْتَظِرُكَ، وَفِي كَلِمَتِكَ رَجَائِي. 

6 نَفْسِي تَنْتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ بِلَهْفَةٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ لَهْفَةِ الْحُرَّاسِ مُتَرَقِّبِي الصُّبْحِ. 

7 لِيَتَرَجَّ إِسْرَائِيلُ الرَّبَّ، لأَنَّ مِنْهُ الرَّحْمَةَ وَالْفِدَاءَ الْكَثِيرَ. 

8 وَهُوَ يَفْدِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ آثَامِهِ.

My Soul Waits for the Lord

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord! (مز 69:2; مز 69:14; مز 120:1; مرا 3:55; يون 2:2) 

2 O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! (2أخ 6:40; مز 86:6; مز 140:6) 

3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? (أي 10:14; مز 76:7; مز 90:8; مز 143:2; عا 2:15; نا 1:6; ملا 3:2; أف 6:13; رؤ 6:17)

6 my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. (مز 5:3; مز 63:6; مز 119:147; مز 123:2) 

7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. (مز 130:4; مز 131:3)
