تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ

1 فَرِحْتُ بِالْقَائِلِينَ لِي: لِنَذْهَبْ مَعاً إِلَى بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ. 

2 تَقِفُ أَقْدَامُنَا الآنَ دَاخِلَ أَبْوَابِكِ يَا أُورُشَلِيمُ. 

3 أُورُشَلِيمُ الْمَبْنِيَّةُ كَمَدِينَةٍ مُتَمَاسِكَةٍ مُتَّحِدَةٍ. 

4 إِلَيْهَا صَعِدَتِ الأَسْبَاطُ، أَسْبَاطُ الرَّبِّ لِتَرْفَعَ الشُّكْرَ لَهُ بِحَسَبِ أَوَامِرِهِ. 

5 هُنَاكَ نُصِبَتْ عُرُوشُ الْقَضَاءِ، عُرُوشُ آلِ دَاوُدَ. 

6 صَلُّوا لأَجْلِ سَلامِ أُورُشَلِيمَ. لِيُفْلِحْ مُحِبُّوكِ وَيَطْمَئِنُّوا. 

7 لِيَكُنِ السَّلامُ دَاخِلَ أَسْوَارِكِ، وَالأَمَانُ دَاخِلَ قُصُورِكِ. 

8 مِنْ أَجْلِ إِخْوَتِي وَأَصْحَابِي أَقُولُ: لِيَسُدْ فِيكِ سَلامٌ. 

9 مِنْ أَجْلِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا أَلْتَمِسُ لَكِ خَيْراً.

Let Us Go to the House of the Lord

1 A Song of Ascents. Of David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (مز 120:1; إش 2:3; مي 4:2; زك 8:21) 

2 Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! 

3 Jerusalem—built as a city that is bound firmly together, (نح 4:6; مز 147:2) 

4 to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord. (تث 16:16; مز 78:5) 

5 There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David. (تث 17:8; 2صم 15:2; 1مل 3:16; 1مل 7:7; 2أخ 19:8) 

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! (مز 51:18; إر 29:7) 

7 Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” (مز 48:13) 

8 For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” (1صم 25:6; مز 85:8) 

9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good. (نح 2:10; أس 10:3)
