Psalm 95

Menge Bibel

Psalm 95

New International Reader’s Version

von Biblica
1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD. Let us give a loud shout to the Rock who saves us.2 Let us come to him and give him thanks. Let us praise him with music and song.3 The LORD is the great God. He is the greatest King. He rules over all the gods.4 He owns the deepest parts of the earth. The mountain peaks belong to him.5 The ocean is his, because he made it. He formed the dry land with his hands.6 Come, let us bow down and worship him. Let us fall on our knees in front of the LORD our Maker.7 He is our God. We are the sheep belonging to his flock. We are the people he takes good care of. If only you would listen to his voice today.8 He says, ‘Don’t be stubborn as you were at Meribah. Don’t be stubborn as you were that day at Massah in the desert.9 There your people of long ago really tested me. They did it even though they had seen what I had done for them.10 For 40 years I was angry with them. I said, “Their hearts are always going astray. They do not know how I want them to live.”11 So when I was angry, I made a promise. I said, “They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.” ’

Psalm 95

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Ps 66,1; Ps 89,26; Ps 94,22)2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Ps 95,1; Mi 6,6)3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (2Chr 2,5; Ps 86,8; Ps 93,4; Ps 96,4; Ps 97,9; Ps 135,5)4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. (1Mo 1,9; Jon 1,9)6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! (5Mo 32,6; 5Mo 32,15; 5Mo 32,18; 2Chr 6,13; Ps 100,3; Ps 149,2; Dan 6,10)7 For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, if you hear his voice, (4Mo 14,22; Ps 48,14; Ps 74,1; Hebr 3,7; Hebr 3,15; Hebr 4,7)8 do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness, (2Mo 9,34; 2Mo 17,7; 4Mo 20,13; 5Mo 6,16; 1Sam 6,6; 2Chr 36,13; Spr 28,14)9 when your fathers put me to the test and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work. (4Mo 14,22; Ps 78,18; Ps 78,41; Ps 78,56; Ps 90,16; 1Kor 10,9)10 For forty years I loathed that generation and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.” (5Mo 9,7; Ps 81,13; Apg 7,36; Apg 13,18; Hebr 3,17)11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter my rest.” (4Mo 14,23; 4Mo 14,28; 4Mo 14,30; 5Mo 1,35; 5Mo 12,9; Hebr 3,11; Hebr 4,3; Hebr 4,5)
