Gottes Gnade für Israel

1 Hört dies, ihr vom Hause Jakob, die ihr nach dem Namen Israels heißt und aus dem Wasser Judas gekommen seid; die ihr schwört bei dem Namen des HERRN und den Gott Israels bekennt, aber nicht in Wahrheit und Gerechtigkeit, – (Jes 51,1) 2 sie nennen sich nach der heiligen Stadt und pochen auf den Gott Israels, der da heißt der HERR Zebaoth. 3 Ich habe vorzeiten verkündigt, was schon gekommen ist; aus meinem Munde ist es gekommen, und ich habe es sagen lassen. Ich tat es plötzlich und es kam. 4 Weil ich weiß, dass du hart bist und dein Nacken eine eiserne Sehne ist und deine Stirn ehern, 5 darum habe ich dir’s vorzeiten verkündigt und es dir sagen lassen, ehe es gekommen ist, damit du nicht sagen könntest: Mein Götze tat es, und mein Schnitzbild und Abgott hat’s befohlen. 6 Das hast du gehört, nun sieh dir das alles an! Ihr aber, wollt ihr es nicht verkündigen? – Von nun an lasse ich dich Neues hören und Verborgenes, das du nicht wusstest. 7 Jetzt ist es geschaffen und nicht vorzeiten, und vorher hast du nicht davon gehört, auf dass du nicht sagen könntest: Siehe, das wusste ich schon. 8 Du hörtest es nicht und wusstest es auch nicht, und dein Ohr war damals nicht geöffnet. Denn ich wusste, dass du treulos bist und man dich nennt »Abtrünnig von Mutterleib an«. (Jes 43,27; Hos 12,4) 9 Um meines Namens willen halte ich lange meinen Zorn zurück, und um meines Ruhmes willen bezähme ich mich dir zugut, dass du nicht ausgerottet wirst. 10 Siehe, ich habe dich geläutert, aber nicht wie Silber, sondern ich habe dich geprüft im Glutofen des Elends. (5Mo 4,20; Jer 6,27; Hes 22,18) 11 Um meinetwillen, ja, um meinetwillen will ich’s tun, dass ich nicht gelästert werde; denn ich will meine Ehre keinem andern lassen. (Jes 42,8)

Die Rettung Israels ist nahe

12 Höre mir zu, Jakob, und du, Israel, den ich berufen habe: Ich bin’s, ich bin der Erste und auch der Letzte. (Offb 1,17) 13 Meine Hand hat die Erde gegründet, und meine Rechte hat den Himmel ausgespannt. Ich rufe und alles steht da. 14 Versammelt euch alle und hört: Wer ist unter ihnen, der es verkündigt hat? Er, den der HERR liebt, wird seinen Willen an Babel beweisen und seinen Arm an den Chaldäern. (Jes 41,2) 15 Ich, ja, ich habe es gesagt, ich habe ihn gerufen, ich habe ihn auch kommen lassen, und sein Weg soll ihm gelingen. 16 Tretet her zu mir und hört dies! Ich habe von Anfang an nicht im Verborgenen geredet; von der Zeit an, da es geschieht, bin ich auf dem Plan. – Und nun sendet mich Gott der HERR und sein Geist. (Jes 45,19) 17 So spricht der HERR, dein Erlöser, der Heilige Israels: Ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der dich lehrt, was dir hilft, und dich leitet auf dem Wege, den du gehst. 18 O dass du auf meine Gebote gemerkt hättest, so würde dein Friede sein wie ein Wasserstrom und deine Gerechtigkeit wie Meereswellen. (5Mo 5,29) 19 Deine Kinder würden zahlreich sein wie Sand und deine Nachkommen wie Sandkörner. Ihr Name würde nicht ausgerottet und nicht vertilgt werden vor mir. (1Mo 22,17) 20 Geht heraus aus Babel, flieht von den Chaldäern! Mit fröhlichem Schall verkündigt dies und lasst es hören, tragt’s hinaus bis an die Enden der Erde und sprecht: Der HERR hat seinen Knecht Jakob erlöst. (Jer 51,6; Offb 18,4) 21 Sie litten keinen Durst, als er sie leitete in der Wüste. Er ließ ihnen Wasser aus dem Felsen fließen, er spaltete den Fels, dass Wasser herausrann. (2Mo 17,6) 22 Aber die Gottlosen, spricht der HERR, haben keinen Frieden. (Jes 57,21)

1 Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness. 2 For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name. 3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. 4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass; 5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. 6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it ? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. 7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them. 8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb. 9 For my name' sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. 10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it : for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. 12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. 13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. 14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things ?
