1Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?4If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.5I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?6But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.7Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?8Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.12All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.13Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.14And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.15Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1Wie kann jemand von euch wagen, wenn er einen Streit hat mit einem andern, sein Recht zu suchen vor den Ungerechten und nicht vor den Heiligen?2Oder wisst ihr nicht, dass die Heiligen die Welt richten werden? Wenn nun die Welt von euch gerichtet werden soll, seid ihr dann nicht gut genug, über so geringe Sachen zu richten? (Da 7:22; Mt 19:28)3Wisst ihr nicht, dass wir über Engel richten werden? Wie viel mehr über Dinge des täglichen Lebens. (2Pe 2:4)4Wenn ihr nun über diese Dinge richtet, nehmt ihr dann solche, die in der Gemeinde verachtet werden, und setzt sie als Richter ein?5Euch zur Schande muss ich das sagen. Ist denn gar kein Weiser unter euch, auch nicht einer, der zwischen Bruder und Bruder richten könnte?6Sondern ein Bruder rechtet mit dem andern, und das vor Ungläubigen!7Es ist schon schlimm genug, dass ihr miteinander rechtet. Warum lasst ihr euch nicht lieber Unrecht tun? Warum lasst ihr euch nicht lieber übervorteilen? (Mt 5:38; 1Th 5:15; 1Pe 3:9)8Sondern ihr tut Unrecht und übervorteilt, und das unter Brüdern!9Oder wisst ihr nicht, dass die Ungerechten das Reich Gottes nicht ererben werden? Täuscht euch nicht! Weder Unzüchtige noch Götzendiener noch Ehebrecher noch Lustknaben noch Knabenschänder (Ga 5:19; Eph 5:5; 1Ti 1:9; Re 22:15)10noch Diebe noch Habgierige noch Trunkenbolde noch Lästerer noch Räuber werden das Reich Gottes ererben.11Und solche sind einige von euch gewesen. Aber ihr seid reingewaschen, ihr seid geheiligt, ihr seid gerecht geworden[1] durch den Namen des Herrn Jesus Christus und durch den Geist unseres Gottes. (Ro 3:26; 1Co 1:2; Tit 3:3; 1Pe 3:21)
Der Leib als Tempel des Heiligen Geistes
12Alles ist mir erlaubt, aber nicht alles dient zum Guten. Alles ist mir erlaubt, aber nichts soll Macht haben über mich. (1Co 10:23)13Die Speise dem Bauch und der Bauch der Speise; aber Gott wird das eine wie das andere zunichtemachen. Der Leib aber nicht der Hurerei, sondern dem Herrn, und der Herr dem Leibe. (1Th 4:3)14Gott aber hat den Herrn auferweckt und wird auch uns auferwecken durch seine Kraft. (1Co 15:20; 2Co 4:14)15Wisst ihr nicht, dass eure Leiber Glieder Christi sind? Sollte ich nun die Glieder Christi nehmen und Hurenglieder daraus machen? Das sei ferne!16Oder wisst ihr nicht: Wer sich an die Hure hängt, der ist ein Leib mit ihr? Denn die Schrift sagt: »Die zwei werden ein Fleisch sein« (Ge 2:24)17Wer aber dem Herrn anhängt, der ist ein Geist mit ihm. (Joh 17:21)18Flieht die Hurerei! Alle Sünden, die der Mensch tut, sind außerhalb seines Leibes; wer aber Hurerei treibt, der sündigt am eigenen Leibe.19Oder wisst ihr nicht, dass euer Leib ein Tempel des Heiligen Geistes ist, der in euch ist und den ihr von Gott habt, und dass ihr nicht euch selbst gehört? (1Co 3:16)20Denn ihr seid teuer erkauft; darum preist Gott mit eurem Leibe. (1Co 7:23; Php 1:20; 1Pe 1:18)
