1 When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? (Mt 18:17) 

New International Version

1 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Suppose one of you wants to bring a charge against another believer. Should you take it to ungodly people to be judged? Why not take it to the Lord’s people?
