1 Der HERR ist König, bekleidet mit Hoheit; der HERR hat sich bekleidet und mit Macht umgürtet. Ja, der Erdkreis ist fest gegründet, nie wird er wanken. (Ps 24,7; Ps 75,4; Ps 104,5) 2 Dein Thron steht fest von Anbeginn, du bist seit Ewigkeit. (Ps 9,8; Ps 90,2) 3 Fluten erhoben, HERR, / Fluten erhoben ihr Tosen, Fluten erheben ihr Brausen. (Ps 29,10) 4 Mehr als das Tosen vieler Wasser, / gewaltiger als die Brandung des Meeres ist gewaltig der HERR in der Höhe. 5 Deine Gesetze sind fest und verlässlich; / deinem Haus gebührt Heiligkeit, HERR, für alle Zeiten. (Ps 19,8)

1 Il Signore regna; egli si è rivestito di maestà; il Signore si è rivestito, si è cinto di forza; il mondo quindi è stabile, e non sarà scosso. 2 Il tuo trono è saldo dai tempi antichi, tu esisti dall’eternità. 3 I fiumi hanno alzato, o Signore, i fiumi hanno alzato la loro voce; i fiumi elevano il loro fragore. 4 Più delle voci delle grandi, delle potenti acque, più dei flutti del mare, il Signore è potente nei luoghi altissimi. 5 I tuoi statuti sono perfettamente stabili; la santità si addice alla tua casa, o Signore, per sempre.
