Aufblick zu Gott

1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Ich erhebe meine Augen zu dir, der du thronst im Himmel. (1Kön 8,30; Ps 141,8) 2 Siehe, wie die Augen der Knechte auf die Hand ihres Herrn, wie die Augen der Magd auf die Hand ihrer Herrin, so sind unsere Augen erhoben zum HERRN, unserem Gott, bis er uns gnädig ist. (Ps 25,15; Ps 119,82) 3 Sei uns gnädig, HERR, sei uns gnädig! Denn übersatt sind wir von Verachtung, (Neh 3,36; Ps 41,6) 4 vom Spott der Selbstsicheren ist übersatt unsere Seele, von der Verachtung durch die Stolzen.

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he has mercy upon us. 3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have had more than enough of contempt. (Neh 4,4; Ps 4,1) 4 Our soul has had more than enough of the scorn of those who are at ease, of the contempt of the proud. (Neh 2,19; Ps 119,51; Jes 32,9; Jes 32,11; Am 6,1)

1 Canto dei pellegrinaggi. A te alzo gli occhi, a te che siedi nei cieli! 2 Ecco, come gli occhi dei servi guardano la mano del loro padrone, come gli occhi della serva guardano la mano della sua padrona, così gli occhi nostri sono rivolti al Signore, al nostro Dio, finché egli abbia pietà di noi. 3 Abbi pietà di noi, Signore, abbi pietà di noi, perché siamo più che sazi di disprezzo. 4 L’anima nostra è più che sazia dello scherno degli orgogliosi e del disprezzo dei superbi.
