Vom Vertrauen beim Beten
English Standard Version
Judging Others
1“Judge not, that you be not judged. (Lk 6,37; Lk 6,41; Röm 14,13; 1Kor 4,5; Jak 5,9)2For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. (Ri 1,7; Mk 4,24; Röm 2,1; Röm 2,3; Röm 14,10; Jak 2,13; Jak 4,11)3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? (Joh 8,7)4Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.6“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Spr 9,7; Spr 23,9; Mt 13,46; Mt 15,26; Phil 3,2; Offb 22,15)
12“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (Mt 22,40; Lk 6,31)13“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy[1] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. (Lk 13,24)14For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (Ps 16,11; Mt 18,8; Lk 13,23; Joh 14,6)
A Tree and Its Fruit
15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. (5Mo 13,1; Jer 14,14; Jer 23,16; Hes 22,27; Mi 3,5; Mt 24,11; Mt 24,24; Mk 13,22; Lk 6,26; Joh 10,12; Apg 13,6; Apg 20,29; 2Petr 2,1; 1Joh 4,1)16You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? (Lk 6,43; Jak 2,18)17So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. (Mt 12,33)18A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (Mt 3,10)20Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. (Mt 7,16)
24“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Hes 13,10; Mt 25,2; Lk 6,47)25And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.26And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. (Mt 7,24)27And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
I falsi profeti
