Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine, (Isa 63:15)15the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.16They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your face! (Ps 39:11; Ps 76:6; Isa 33:12)17But let your hand be on the man of your right hand, the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself! Fais briller ton visage, et nous serons sauvés!5Eternel, Dieu de l'univers, jusqu'à quand t'irriteras-tu contre la prière de ton peuple?6Tu les as nourris d'un pain trempé de larmes, tu leur as fait boire des larmes à pleine mesure.7Tu fais de nous une source de conflits pour nos voisins et nos ennemis se moquent de nous.8Dieu de l'univers, relève-nous! Fais briller ton visage, et nous serons sauvés!9Tu avais arraché de l'Egypte une vigne: tu as chassé des nations et tu l'as plantée.10Tu as déblayé le sol devant elle: elle a pris racine et rempli la terre.11Les montagnes étaient couvertes de son ombre, et ses rameaux étaient comme des cèdres de Dieu.12Elle étendait ses branches jusqu'à la mer, et ses rejets jusqu'au fleuve.13Pourquoi as-tu renversé ses clôtures? Voilà que tous les passants la dépouillent.14Le sanglier de la forêt y sème la dévastation, et les bêtes des champs s'en nourrissent.15Dieu de l'univers, reviens donc, regarde du haut du ciel et constate la situation, interviens pour cette vigne!16Protège ce que ta main droite a planté, le fils que tu t'es choisi!17Ta vigne est brûlée par le feu, elle est saccagée; ton visage menaçant provoque leur perte.18Que ta main soit sur l'homme qui est à ta droite, sur le fils de l'homme que tu as toi-même fortifié!19Alors nous ne nous éloignerons plus de toi. Fais-nous revivre et nous ferons appel à ton nom!20Eternel, Dieu de l'univers, relève-nous! Fais briller ton visage, et nous serons sauvés!
