(Ex 20:2; Ps 37:3)11“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. (Am 1:8)15Those who hate the Lord would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever. J'entends un langage qui m'est inconnu:7«J'ai déchargé son épaule du fardeau, et ses mains ont lâché la corbeille.»8Tu as crié dans la détresse, et je t'ai délivré; je t'ai répondu au cœur de l'orage, je t'ai mis à l'épreuve près des eaux de Meriba. – Pause.9Ecoute, mon peuple, et je t'avertirai! Israël, si seulement tu m'écoutais!10Qu'il n'y ait au milieu de toi aucun autre dieu! Ne te prosterne pas devant des dieux étrangers!11Je suis l'Eternel, ton Dieu, qui t'ai fait sortir d'Egypte.[1] Ouvre ta bouche, et je la remplirai! (De 5:6)12Mais mon peuple ne m'a pas écouté, Israël n'a pas voulu de moi.13Alors je les ai livrés aux penchants de leur cœur, et ils ont suivi leurs propres projets.14Si seulement mon peuple m'écoutait, si seulement Israël marchait dans mes voies!15En un instant j'humilierais leurs ennemis, je tournerais ma main contre leurs adversaires.16Ceux qui détestent l'Eternel le flatteraient, et le bonheur d'Israël durerait toujours.17Je le nourrirais du meilleur blé, et je le rassasierais de miel sauvage.
