1After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, (Re 4:11; Re 7:10; Re 11:15; Re 12:10)2for his judgments are true and just; for he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” (De 32:43; 2Ki 9:7; Re 6:10; Re 15:3; Re 16:6; Re 16:7; Re 17:1)3Once more they cried out, “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.” (Isa 34:10; Re 14:11; Re 18:9; Re 18:18)4And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” (Re 4:4; Re 4:6; Re 4:10; Re 5:14)5And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great.” (Ps 22:23; Ps 113:1; Ps 134:1; Ps 135:1; Re 11:18)
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
6Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. (Ps 97:1; Da 10:6; Re 1:15; Re 6:1; Re 11:15; Re 11:17; Re 14:2; Re 19:1)7Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; (Isa 54:5; Ho 2:19; Mt 22:2; Mt 25:10; Lu 12:36; Lu 14:8; Joh 2:1; Eph 5:22; Re 21:2; Re 21:9)8it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. (Ps 45:13; Ps 132:9; Isa 61:10; Eze 16:10)9And the angel said[1] to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” (Lu 14:15; Re 19:7; Re 21:5; Re 22:6)10Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. The Rider on a White Horse
11Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. (Ps 96:13; Isa 11:4; Eze 1:1; Re 3:7; Re 3:14; Re 6:2)12His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. (Pr 30:4; Re 1:14; Re 2:17; Re 2:18; Re 12:3; Re 19:16)13He is clothed in a robe dipped in[2] blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. (Isa 63:2; Joh 1:1)14And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. (Re 3:4; Re 7:9; Re 14:20)15From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule[3] them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. (Isa 11:4; Isa 63:3; 2Th 2:8; Re 1:16; Re 2:27; Re 12:5; Re 14:20; Re 19:21)16On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. (Re 17:14; Re 19:12)17Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, (Isa 34:6; Jer 12:9; Jer 46:10; Eze 39:17; Eze 39:19; Re 19:21)18to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave,[4] both small and great.” (Eze 39:18; Eze 39:20)19And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. (Re 11:7; Re 13:1; Re 16:16)20And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence[5] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (Da 7:11; 2Th 1:8; Re 13:11; Re 13:15; Re 14:10; Re 16:13; Re 20:10; Re 20:14; Re 21:8)21And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh. (Re 19:15; Re 19:17)

Pentru că Domnul Dumnezeul nostru, Cel Atotputernic, împărățește!7Să ne bucurăm, să ne veselim și să‑I dăm slavă, pentru că nunta Mielului a sosit, iar mireasa Lui s‑a pregătit[2]. (Isa 54:5; Ho 2:19; Mt 22:2; Eph 5:31)8I s‑a dat să se îmbrace în in fin, strălucitor și curat.“ Căci inul fin reprezintă faptele drepte ale sfinților.9Apoi mi‑a zis: „Scrie! Fericiți sunt cei chemați la Cina nunții Mielului!“ Mi‑a mai zis: „Acestea sunt cuvintele adevărate ale lui Dumnezeu.“10M‑am aruncat la picioarele lui, ca să mă închin lui, dar el mi‑a zis: „Vezi să nu faci așa ceva! Eu sunt rob împreună cu tine și cu frații tăi, care țin mărturia lui Isus. Lui Dumnezeu închină‑te! Căci mărturia lui Isus este duhul profeției[3].“ (Zec 7:12; Joh 15:26; Ac 1:2; Ac 4:25; Eph 3:5)
Călărețul și calul cel alb
11Apoi am văzut cerul deschis și iată că era un cal alb. Cel Ce îl călărea era numit „Cel Credincios și Adevărat“. El judecă și Se războiește cu dreptate.12Ochii Lui erau ca flacăra focului, iar pe cap avea multe diademe. Avea un nume scris, pe care nimeni nu‑l cunoaște în afară de El.13Era îmbrăcat cu o haină înmuiată în[4] sânge, iar numele Lui este „Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu“.14Armatele care erau în cer Îl urmau pe cai albi, fiind îmbrăcate în in fin, de un alb curat.15Din gura Lui iese o sabie ascuțită cu care să lovească neamurile. „El le va conduce cu un sceptru de fier.“[5] El calcă în picioare teascul de vin al furiei mâniei lui Dumnezeu, al Atotputernicului. (Ps 2:9)16Pe haina și pe coapsa Lui avea scris un nume: împăratul împăraților și domnul domnilor.17Am văzut un înger care stătea în picioare în soare și care a strigat cu glas tare către toate păsările ce zboară în înaltul cerului: „Veniți! Adunați‑vă pentru ospățul cel mare al lui Dumnezeu,18ca să mâncați carnea regilor, carnea comandanților, carnea celor puternici, carnea cailor și a călăreților și carnea tuturor – atât a celor liberi, cât și a sclavilor, atât a celor mici, cât și a celor mari!“19Și am văzut fiara, regii pământului și armatele lor adunate ca să poarte război cu Cel Ce călărea pe cal și cu armata Lui.20Fiara a fost prinsă și împreună cu ea a fost prins și profetul fals, care făcuse semne înaintea ei, semne prin care i‑a dus în rătăcire pe cei ce au primit semnul fiarei și pe cei ce s‑au închinat chipului ei. Cei doi au fost aruncați de vii în lacul de foc care arde cu sulf.21Iar ceilalți au fost omorâți de sabia care ieșea din gura Celui Ce călărea pe cal; și toate păsările s‑au săturat din carnea lor.
