1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” (Ps 79:6; Jer 10:25; Zep 3:8; Re 15:1; Re 15:7)2So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. (Ex 9:9; Re 13:16; Re 16:11)3The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea. (Re 8:8; Re 8:9)4The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. (Ex 7:17; Re 8:10)5And I heard the angel in charge of the waters[1] say, “Just are you, O Holy One, who is and who was, for you brought these judgments. (Jer 12:1; Joh 17:25; Re 1:4; Re 1:8; Re 4:8; Re 11:17; Re 15:4)6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!” (Isa 49:26; Lu 11:49; Re 11:18; Re 13:15; Re 18:24)7And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!” (Ps 119:137; Re 6:9; Re 15:3; Re 19:2)8The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. (Re 9:17; Re 14:18)9They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed[2] the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. (Da 5:22; Da 5:23; Re 2:21; Re 11:13; Re 16:11; Re 16:21)10The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish (Ex 10:21; Re 9:2; Re 13:2)11and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds. (Re 2:21; Re 11:13; Re 16:2)12The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. (Isa 11:15; Isa 41:2; Isa 41:25; Isa 44:27; Isa 46:11; Jer 50:38; Jer 51:32; Jer 51:36; Re 7:2; Re 9:14)13And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. (Ex 8:6; Re 12:3; Re 12:9; Re 13:1; Re 13:11; Re 13:14; Re 18:2; Re 19:20; Re 20:10)14For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. (1Ki 22:20; 1Ti 4:1; Re 6:17; Re 13:13; Re 17:14; Re 19:19; Re 20:8)15(“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) (Mt 24:42; Re 3:2; Re 3:3; Re 3:18)16And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Jud 5:19; Zec 12:11; Re 19:19)
The Seventh Bowl
17The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” (Eph 2:2; Re 10:6)18And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings,[3] peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. (Da 12:1; Joe 2:2; Mt 24:21; Re 4:5; Re 6:12; Re 8:5; Re 11:13; Re 11:19)19The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. (Ps 74:18; Re 11:8; Re 11:13; Re 14:8; Re 14:10; Re 18:5)20And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. (Re 6:14)21And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds[4] each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe. (Ex 9:23; Re 11:19; Re 16:9; Re 16:11)
1Am auzit un glas puternic zicându‑le din Templu celor șapte îngeri: „Duceți‑vă și vărsați pe pământ cele șapte vase ale furiei lui Dumnezeu!“2Primul s‑a dus și și‑a vărsat vasul pe pământ. Și peste oamenii care aveau semnul fiarei și se închinaseră chipului ei a venit o rană urâtă și dureroasă.3Al doilea și‑a vărsat vasul în mare și ea s‑a făcut ca sângele unui mort. Și orice suflare de viață care era în mare a pierit.4Al treilea și‑a vărsat vasul în râuri și în izvoarele apelor. Și ele s‑au transformat în sânge.5L‑am auzit pe îngerul apelor zicând: „Tu ești drept, Cel Care este și Care era, Cel Sfânt, pentru că ai judecat aceste lucruri.6Fiindcă ei au vărsat sângele sfinților și al profeților, le‑ai dat și Tu să bea sânge! Sunt vrednici de aceasta!“7Și am auzit altarul zicând: „Da, Doamne Dumnezeule, Cel Atotputernic, judecățile Tale sunt adevărate și drepte!“8Al patrulea și‑a vărsat vasul peste soare. Și soarelui i s‑a dat să‑i pârjolească pe oameni cu foc.9Oamenii au fost pârjoliți de căldura lui cea mare și au blasfemiat Numele lui Dumnezeu, Cel Care are autoritate peste aceste urgii. Și nu s‑au pocăit și nu I‑au dat slavă.10Al cincilea și‑a vărsat vasul peste tronul fiarei. Și împărăția ei a fost acoperită de întuneric. Oamenii și‑au mușcat limbile de durere11și L‑au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeul cerului din cauza durerilor și a bubelor lor. Și nu s‑au pocăit de faptele lor.12Al șaselea și‑a vărsat vasul peste Râul cel Mare, Eufratul. Și apa lui a secat, ca să fie pregătit drumul regilor de la răsărit.13Am văzut trei duhuri necurate, ca niște broaște, ieșind din gura dragonului, din gura fiarei și din gura profetului fals.14Acestea sunt duhuri de demoni, care fac semne și se duc la regii întregii lumi ca să‑i adune pentru războiul zilei celei mari a lui Dumnezeu, a Atotputernicului.15„Iată, Eu vin ca un hoț. Fericit este cel ce veghează și își păzește hainele ca să nu umble gol, și oamenii să nu‑i vadă rușinea.“16I‑au adunat în locul numit în ebraică „Armaghedon“[1]. (Jud 5:19; 2Ki 9:27; 2Ch 35:20; Isa 14:13)17Al șaptelea și‑a vărsat vasul în văzduh. Și din Templu, de la tron, a ieșit un glas puternic, zicând: „S‑a terminat!“18Au avut loc fulgere, sunete[2] și tunete și a fost un mare cutremur, așa de tare, cum, de când este omul pe pământ, n‑a mai fost un cutremur așa de mare.19Cetatea cea mare s‑a rupt în trei părți, iar cetățile neamurilor s‑au prăbușit. Și marele Babilon a fost amintit înaintea lui Dumnezeu pentru a i se da paharul de vin al furiei mâniei Lui.20Orice insulă a fugit, iar munții n‑au mai fost găsiți.21Din cer a căzut peste oameni o grindină mare, cu boabe care cântăreau aproape un talant[3]. Din cauza urgiei cu grindină, oamenii L‑au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeu, pentru că fusese o urgie foarte grea.
