1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, HERR, zu dir. / 2 Herr, höre meine Stimme! Lass deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens! 3 Wenn du, HERR, Sünden anrechnen willst – Herr, wer wird bestehen? 4 Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, dass man dich fürchte. (Isa 55:7; Ro 6:1) 5 Ich harre des HERRN, meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort. (Isa 21:11; Lu 12:35) 6 Meine Seele wartet auf den Herrn mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen; mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen 7 hoffe Israel auf den HERRN! Denn bei dem HERRN ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm. 8 Und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden. (Mt 1:21)

1 Chant des montées. Du fond du gouffre, je fais appel à toi, Eternel! 2 Seigneur, écoute-moi! Que tes oreilles soient attentives à mes supplications! 3 Si tu tenais compte de nos fautes, Eternel, Seigneur, qui pourrait subsister? 4 Mais le pardon se trouve auprès de toi afin qu'on te craigne. 5 J'espère en l'Eternel de toute mon âme et je m'attends à sa promesse. 6 Je compte sur le Seigneur plus que les gardes n'attendent le matin, oui, plus que les gardes n'attendent le matin. 7 Israël, mets ton espoir en l'Eternel, car c'est auprès de l'Eternel que se trouve la bonté, c'est auprès de lui que se trouve une généreuse libération. 8 C'est lui qui rachètera Israël de toutes ses fautes.
