1But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided. (Ge 19:29; Ge 30:22; Ex 2:24; Ex 14:21; 1Sa 1:19)2The fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, (Ge 7:11)3and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of 150 days the waters had abated, (Ge 7:24)4and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. (2Ki 19:37; Isa 37:38; Jer 51:27)5And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.6At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made7and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.8Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground.9But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.10He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.11And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.12Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore.13In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry.14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out.15Then God said to Noah,16“Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. (Ge 7:13)17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” (Ge 1:22; Ge 1:28; Ge 9:1)18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by families from the ark.
God’s Covenant with Noah
20Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.21And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse[1] the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. (Ge 3:17; Ge 6:5; Ge 6:17; Ge 9:11; Ge 9:15; Ex 29:18; Ex 29:25; Ex 29:41; Le 1:9; Le 1:13; Le 1:17; Ps 58:3; Isa 54:9; Eze 16:19; Eze 20:41; Mt 15:19; Ro 1:21; 2Co 2:15; Eph 5:2; Php 4:18)22While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” (Jer 5:24; Jer 33:20; Jer 33:25)
Ende der Sintflut. Noahs Opfer. Verheißung des Herrn
1Da gedachte Gott an Noah und an alles wilde Getier und an alles Vieh, das mit ihm in der Arche war; und Gott ließ Wind auf Erden kommen, und die Wasser fielen.2Und die Brunnen der Tiefe wurden verstopft samt den Fenstern des Himmels, und dem Regen vom Himmel wurde gewehrt.3Da verliefen sich die Wasser von der Erde und nahmen immer mehr ab nach hundertfünfzig Tagen.4Am siebzehnten Tag des siebenten Monats setzte die Arche auf dem Gebirge Ararat auf. (Ge 7:11)5Es nahmen aber die Wasser immer mehr ab bis auf den zehnten Monat. Am ersten Tage des zehnten Monats sahen die Spitzen der Berge hervor.6Nach vierzig Tagen tat Noah an der Arche das Fenster auf, das er gemacht hatte, (Ge 7:12; Ge 7:17)7und ließ einen Raben ausfliegen; der flog immer hin und her, bis die Wasser vertrockneten auf Erden.8Danach ließ er eine Taube ausfliegen, um zu erfahren, ob die Wasser sich verlaufen hätten auf Erden.9Da aber die Taube nichts fand, wo ihr Fuß ruhen konnte, kam sie wieder zu ihm in die Arche; denn noch war Wasser auf dem ganzen Erdboden. Da tat er die Hand heraus und nahm sie zu sich in die Arche.10Da harrte er noch weitere sieben Tage und ließ abermals die Taube fliegen aus der Arche.11Sie kam zu ihm um die Abendzeit, und siehe, sie hatte ein frisches Ölblatt in ihrem Schnabel. Da merkte Noah, dass die Wasser sich verlaufen hatten auf Erden.12Aber er harrte noch weitere sieben Tage und ließ die Taube ausfliegen; sie kam nicht wieder zu ihm.13Im sechshundertundersten Jahr Noahs am ersten Tage des ersten Monats waren die Wasser vertrocknet auf Erden. Da tat Noah das Dach von der Arche und sah, dass der Erdboden trocken war. (Ge 7:11)14Und am siebenundzwanzigsten Tage des zweiten Monats war die Erde ganz trocken.15Da redete Gott mit Noah und sprach:16Geh aus der Arche, du und deine Frau, deine Söhne und die Frauen deiner Söhne mit dir.17Alles Getier, das bei dir ist, von allem Fleisch, an Vögeln, an Vieh und allem Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht, das lass mit dir herausgehen, dass sie sich regen auf Erden und fruchtbar seien und sich mehren auf Erden.18So ging Noah heraus mit seinen Söhnen und mit seiner Frau und den Frauen seiner Söhne, (2Pe 2:5)19dazu alles wilde Getier, alles Vieh, alle Vögel und alles Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht; das ging aus der Arche, ein jedes mit seinesgleichen.20Noah aber baute dem HERRN einen Altar und nahm von allem reinen Vieh und von allen reinen Vögeln und opferte Brandopfer auf dem Altar. (Ge 7:2)21Und der HERR roch den lieblichen Geruch und sprach in seinem Herzen: Ich will hinfort nicht mehr die Erde verfluchen um der Menschen willen; denn das Dichten und Trachten des menschlichen Herzens ist böse von Jugend auf. Und ich will hinfort nicht mehr schlagen alles, was da lebt, wie ich getan habe. (Ge 6:5; Job 14:4; Ps 14:3; Mt 15:19; Ro 3:23)22Solange die Erde steht, soll nicht aufhören Saat und Ernte, Frost und Hitze, Sommer und Winter, Tag und Nacht. (Jer 33:20; Jer 33:25)

Il fit passer un vent sur la terre et l'eau se calma.2Les sources de l'abîme et les écluses du ciel furent fermées et la pluie ne tomba plus du ciel.3L'eau se retira peu à peu de dessus la terre, si bien qu'elle baissa au bout de 150 jours.4Le dix-septième jour du septième mois, l'arche s'arrêta sur les montagnes d'Ararat[1].5L'eau baissa progressivement jusqu'au dixième mois. Le premier jour du dixième mois, les sommets des montagnes apparurent.6Au bout de 40 jours, Noé ouvrit la fenêtre qu'il avait faite à l'arche.7Il lâcha le corbeau et celui-ci sortit, faisant des allers et retours jusqu'à ce que l'eau ait séché sur la terre.8Il lâcha aussi la colombe pour voir si l'eau avait baissé sur la terre,9mais celle-ci ne trouva aucun endroit où se poser. Elle revint vers lui dans l'arche, car il y avait de l'eau sur toute la surface de la terre. Il avança la main, la prit et la fit rentrer vers lui dans l'arche.10Il attendit encore 7 autres jours, puis il lâcha de nouveau la colombe hors de l'arche.11La colombe revint vers lui sur le soir, et voici qu'une feuille d'olivier arrachée était dans son bec. Noé sut ainsi que l'eau avait baissé sur la terre.12Il attendit encore 7 autres jours, puis il lâcha la colombe, mais elle ne revint plus vers lui.13L'an 601, le premier jour du premier mois, l'eau avait séché sur la terre. Noé retira le toit de l'arche. Il regarda et constata que la surface du sol avait séché.14Le vingt-septième jour du deuxième mois, la terre fut sèche.15Alors Dieu parla à Noé:16«Sors de l'arche avec ta femme, tes fils et les femmes de tes fils.17Fais sortir avec toi tous les animaux de toute espèce qui sont avec toi, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre. Qu'ils pullulent sur la terre, qu'ils se reproduisent et deviennent nombreux sur la terre.»18Noé sortit avec ses fils, sa femme et les femmes de ses fils.19Tous les animaux, tous les reptiles, tous les oiseaux et tout ce qui se déplace sur la terre sortirent de l'arche en fonction de leur espèce.20Noé construisit un autel en l'honneur de l'Eternel. Il prit de toutes les bêtes pures et de tous les oiseaux purs et offrit des holocaustes sur l'autel.21L'Eternel perçut une odeur agréable et se dit en lui-même: «Je ne maudirai plus la terre à cause de l'homme, car l'orientation du cœur de l'homme est mauvaise dès sa jeunesse, et je ne frapperai plus tous les êtres vivants comme je l'ai fait.22Tant que la terre subsistera, les semailles et la moisson, le froid et la chaleur, l'été et l'hiver, le jour et la nuit ne cesseront pas.»
