1The word of the Lord came to me:2“And you, O son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel: An end! (Eze 7:12)15The sword is without; pestilence and famine are within. He who is in the field dies by the sword, and him who is in the city famine and pestilence devour. (Jer 14:18; La 1:20; Eze 6:12)16And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity. (Isa 38:14; Eze 6:8)17All hands are feeble, and all knees turn to water. (Isa 13:7; Jer 6:24; Eze 21:7)18They put on sackcloth, and horror covers them. Shame is on all faces, and baldness on all their heads. (Ps 55:5; Isa 3:24; Isa 15:2; La 2:10)19They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity. (Pr 11:4; Eze 14:3; Eze 14:7; Eze 44:12; Zep 1:18; 1Ti 6:10)20His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them. (Isa 64:11; Eze 8:5; Eze 9:7; Eze 16:17; Eze 24:21; Eze 25:3)21And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it. (Eze 7:20; Eze 7:24; Eze 23:46; Eze 28:7)22I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured[7] place. Robbers shall enter and profane it. (Eze 7:20)23“Forge a chain![8] For the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence. (Jer 6:7; Jer 27:2; Eze 7:11; Eze 8:17; Eze 9:9; Eze 11:6; Eze 22:3)24I will bring the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the strong, and their holy places[9] shall be profaned. (Eze 7:11; Eze 7:20; Eze 7:21; Hab 1:6; Hab 1:13)25When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there shall be none. (Jer 6:14; Jer 8:15; Eze 7:2; 1Th 5:3)26Disaster comes upon disaster; rumor follows rumor. They seek a vision from the prophet, while the law[10] perishes from the priest and counsel from the elders. (1Ki 12:6; Job 1:16; Ps 74:9; Jer 4:20; Eze 20:1; Eze 20:3; Mal 2:7)27The king mourns, the prince is wrapped in despair, and the hands of the people of the land are paralyzed by terror. According to their way I will do to them, and according to their judgments I will judge them, and they shall know that I am the Lord.” (Eze 6:7; Eze 7:4)

Der Käufer freue sich nicht, und der Verkäufer traure nicht; denn es kommt der Zorn über all ihren Reichtum.13Denn der Verkäufer wird zum Verkaufen nicht zurückkehren, selbst wenn sie noch am Leben sind; denn der Zorn über all ihren Reichtum wird sich nicht wenden; keiner wird sein Leben erhalten um seiner Missetat willen.14Lasst sie die Posaune nur blasen und alles zurüsten; es wird doch niemand in den Krieg ziehen, denn mein Zorn ist entbrannt über all ihren Reichtum.15Draußen das Schwert, drinnen Pest und Hunger! Wer auf dem Feld ist, der wird vom Schwert sterben; wer in der Stadt ist, den werden Pest und Hunger fressen.16Und die von ihnen entrinnen, die werden auf den Bergen sein wie gurrende Tauben in den Schluchten, sie alle, ein jeder wegen seiner Missetat.17Alle Hände werden herabsinken und alle Knie werden weich. (Isa 13:7)18Und sie werden Säcke anlegen und mit Furcht überschüttet sein, und auf allen Gesichtern liegt Scham, und alle Köpfe werden kahl geschoren. (Jer 48:37)19Sie werden ihr Silber hinaus auf die Gassen werfen und ihr Gold wie Unrat achten; denn ihr Silber und Gold kann sie nicht erretten am Tage des Zorns des HERRN. Sie werden sich damit nicht sättigen und ihren Bauch damit nicht füllen; denn es wurde zum Anlass ihrer Missetat. (Pr 11:4; Zep 1:18)20Sie haben ihre edlen Kleinode zur Hoffart verwendet und Bilder ihrer gräulichen Götzen, ihrer Scheusale, daraus gemacht. Darum will ich’s ihnen zum Unrat machen.21Und ich will es Fremden in die Hände geben, dass sie es rauben, und den Gottlosen auf Erden zur Beute, dass sie es entheiligen.22Ich will mein Angesicht von ihnen abwenden, und mein Kleinod soll entheiligt werden; ja, Räuber sollen darüber kommen und es entheiligen.23Mache Ketten! Denn das Land ist voll Blutschuld und die Stadt voll Frevel.24So will ich die Schlimmsten unter den Völkern herbringen; die sollen ihre Häuser einnehmen. Und ich will der Hoffart der Gewaltigen ein Ende machen, und entheiligt werden ihre Heiligtümer.25Angst kommt; da werden sie Heil suchen, aber es wird nicht zu finden sein.26Ein Unglück wird über das andere kommen, eine schlimme Kunde nach der andern. So werden sie dann eine Weissagung bei den Propheten suchen; auch wird weder Weisung bei den Priestern noch Rat bei den Ältesten sein. (Jer 8:8)27Der König wird trauern, und der Fürst wird sich in Entsetzen kleiden, und die Hände des Volks des Landes werden kraftlos sein. Ich will mit ihnen umgehen, wie sie gelebt haben, und wie sie gerichtet haben, will ich sie richten, dass sie erfahren sollen, dass ich der HERR bin.

J'enverrai ma colère contre toi, je te jugerai conformément à ta conduite, je ferai retomber toutes tes pratiques abominables sur toi.4Mon regard sera sans pitié pour toi et je n'aurai aucune compassion. Au contraire, je ferai retomber ta conduite sur toi et tes pratiques abominables se manifesteront au milieu de toi. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis l'Eternel.5»Voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: C'est un malheur, un malheur unique! Le voici qui vient!6La fin vient, la fin vient, elle se réveille contre toi! La voici qui vient!7Ton tour arrive, habitant du pays! Le moment vient, le jour approche! C'est la panique, il n'y a plus de cris de joie dans les montagnes!8»Maintenant, très bientôt, je vais déverser ma fureur sur toi, je vais aller jusqu'au bout de ma colère contre toi. Je te jugerai conformément à ta conduite, je ferai retomber toutes tes pratiques abominables sur toi.9Mon regard sera sans pitié et je n'aurai aucune compassion. Je ferai retomber ta conduite sur toi, et tes pratiques abominables se manifesteront au milieu de toi. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis l'Eternel, celui qui frappe.10»Voici le jour! Le voici qui vient! Ton tour arrive! Le bâton a fleuri! L'arrogance s'est épanouie!11La violence a grandi pour servir de bâton à la méchanceté: il ne reste plus rien d'eux, de leur foule bruyante et de leur abondance. On ne trouve plus rien de valeur chez eux.12»Le moment vient, le jour approche. Que l'acheteur ne se réjouisse pas, que le vendeur ne se lamente pas, car ma colère ardente éclate contre toute leur foule bruyante.13En effet, le vendeur ne récupérera pas ce qu'il a vendu, même s'il reste encore en vie, car la vision concernant toute cette foule bruyante ne sera pas révoquée. Chacun mène une vie marquée par les fautes; ils ne retrouveront pas des forces.14On sonne de la trompette, tout est prêt, mais personne n'ira au combat, car ma colère ardente éclate contre toute leur foule bruyante.15»L'épée est à l'extérieur, la peste et la famine à l'intérieur! Celui qui est aux champs mourra par l'épée et celui qui est dans la ville sera dévoré par la famine et par la peste.16Leurs rescapés s'échapperont et se retrouveront, sur les montagnes, pareils aux colombes des vallées: ils seront tous en train de gémir, chacun sur sa faute.17Tous baisseront les bras, tous auront les genoux qui flanchent.18Ils se couvriront de sacs et un tremblement s'emparera d'eux. La honte se lira sur tous les visages, et toutes les têtes seront rasées.19»Ils jetteront leur argent dans les rues et leur or sera un objet d'horreur. Leur argent et leur or seront incapables de les délivrer, le jour de la fureur de l'Eternel; ils ne pourront plus les rassasier ni remplir leurs intestins, car c'est ce qui les pousse à la faute.20Ils ont fait de la beauté de leurs bijoux un sujet de fierté et ils les ont utilisés pour fabriquer leurs abominables statues, leurs monstruosités. Voilà pourquoi j'en fais pour eux un objet d'horreur.21Je les donnerai en pillage à des étrangers, et comme butin aux méchants de la terre, afin qu'ils les profanent.22Je me détournerai d'eux et l'on profanera mon lieu secret. Des hommes violents y pénétreront et le profaneront.23»Prépare les chaînes, car le pays est rempli de meurtres, et la ville de violence.24Je ferai venir les plus méchantes des nations et elles prendront possession de leurs maisons. Je mettrai fin à l'orgueil des puissants et leurs sanctuaires seront profanés.25»L'angoisse vient. Ils chercheront la paix, mais ils ne la trouveront pas.26Il arrivera malheur sur malheur, une rumeur succédera à une autre rumeur. Ils réclameront sans succès une vision aux prophètes, les prêtres ne connaîtront plus la loi, les anciens n'auront plus de conseils à donner.27Le roi prendra le deuil, le prince aura la consternation pour habit, les mains de la population du pays seront tremblantes. Je les traiterai en fonction de leur conduite, je les jugerai d'après leurs jugements, et ils reconnaîtront que je suis l'Eternel.»
