1“Moreover, you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarns; you shall make them with cherubim skillfully worked into them. (Ex 25:9; Ex 26:31; Ex 26:36; Ex 28:6; Ex 28:15; Ex 36:8; Ex 36:35; Ex 39:3; Ex 39:8)2The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits,[1] and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall be the same size.3Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.4And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set. Likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set.5Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another.6And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle may be a single whole.7“You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make. (Ex 36:14)8The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same size.9You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent.10You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set.11“You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be a single whole.12And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.13And the extra that remains in the length of the curtains, the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it.14And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins[2] and a covering of goatskins on top. (Ex 25:5; Ex 36:19)15“You shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood.16Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame.17There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together. So shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle.18You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side;19and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons;20and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames,21and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under the next frame.22And for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames.23And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear;24they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring. Thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners.25And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame.26“You shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,27and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward.28The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall run from end to end.29You shall overlay the frames with gold and shall make their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold. (Ex 25:27)30Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain. (Ex 25:40)31“And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim skillfully worked into it. (Ex 26:1; Ex 36:35; Le 16:2; 2Ch 3:14; Mt 27:51; Heb 9:3)32And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver.33And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy. (Ex 16:34; Ex 26:31)34You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place. (Ex 25:21; Ex 40:20)35And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table, and you shall put the table on the north side. (Ex 40:22; Ex 40:24; Heb 9:2)36“You shall make a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. (Ex 25:4; Ex 26:1; Ex 26:31; Ex 27:16; Ex 36:37)37And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.

(Ex 36:8)2Die Länge eines Teppichs soll achtundzwanzig Ellen sein, die Breite vier Ellen, und sie sollen alle zehn dasselbe Maß haben;3und es sollen je fünf zu einer Bahn zusammengefügt werden, einer an den andern.4Und du sollst Schlaufen machen von blauem Purpur an beiden Bahnen an dem Rand, an dem sie zusammengeheftet werden,5fünfzig Schlaufen an jeder Bahn, dass eine Schlaufe der andern gegenüberstehe.6Und du sollst fünfzig goldene Haken machen und die Teppiche verbinden, einen mit dem andern, auf dass die Wohnung ein Ganzes sei.7Du sollst auch Teppiche aus Ziegenhaar machen als Zelt über der Wohnung, elf Teppiche.8Die Länge eines Teppichs soll dreißig Ellen sein, die Breite aber vier Ellen, und sie sollen alle elf dasselbe Maß haben.9Fünf sollst du aneinanderfügen und die sechs andern auch, und den sechsten Teppich sollst du vorn an dem Zelt doppelt legen;10und sollst an beiden Bahnen fünfzig Schlaufen machen an dem Rand, an dem sie zusammengeheftet werden.11Und du sollst fünfzig Haken aus Bronze machen und die Haken in die Schlaufen tun, damit das Zelt zusammengefügt werde und ein Ganzes sei.12Aber vom Überhang der Teppiche des Zeltes sollst du einen halben Teppich hinten an der Wohnung überhängen lassen13und auf beiden Seiten je eine Elle, dass der Überhang der Zeltteppiche an beiden Seiten der Wohnung herabhänge und sie bedecke.14Über die Decke des Zeltes sollst du eine Decke von rot gefärbten Widderfellen machen und darüber noch eine Decke von feinem Leder.15Du sollst auch Bretter machen für die Wohnung, aus Akazienholz, zum Aufstellen;16zehn Ellen lang soll ein Brett sein und anderthalb Ellen breit.17Zwei Zapfen soll ein Brett haben, dass eins an das andere gesetzt werden könne. So sollst du alle Bretter der Wohnung machen.18Zwanzig von ihnen sollen nach Süden stehen.19Vierzig silberne Füße sollst du machen unter den zwanzig Brettern, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett für seine zwei Zapfen.20Ebenso sollen auf der andern Seite, nach Norden, auch zwanzig Bretter stehen21mit vierzig silbernen Füßen, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett.22Und für die Rückseite der Wohnung nach Westen sollst du sechs Bretter machen;23dazu zwei Bretter für die zwei Ecken an der Rückseite der Wohnung,24dass beide mit ihren Eckbrettern unten und oben verbunden sind und so die Ecken bilden.25Acht Bretter sollen es sein mit ihren silbernen Füßen; sechzehn Füße sollen es sein, je zwei unter einem Brett.26Und du sollst Riegel machen aus Akazienholz, fünf zu den Brettern auf der einen Langseite der Wohnung27und fünf zu den Brettern auf der anderen Langseite der Wohnung und fünf zu den Brettern auf der Rückseite der Wohnung nach Westen,28und sollst einen Mittelriegel in halber Höhe an den Brettern entlanglaufen lassen von einem Ende zu dem andern.29Und du sollst die Bretter mit Gold überziehen und ihre Ringe aus Gold machen, in die man die Riegel hineintut. Und die Riegel sollst du mit Gold überziehen.30So sollst du die Wohnung in der Weise aufrichten, wie du sie auf dem Berge gesehen hast. (Ex 25:9)31Du sollst einen Vorhang machen aus blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem feinem Leinen und sollst Cherubim einweben in kunstreicher Arbeit (2Ch 3:14)32und sollst ihn aufhängen an vier Säulen von Akazienholz, die mit Gold überzogen sind und goldene Nägel und vier silberne Füße haben.33Und du sollst den Vorhang an die Haken hängen und die Lade mit dem Gesetz hinter den Vorhang setzen, dass er euch eine Scheidewand sei zwischen dem Heiligen und dem Allerheiligsten. (Mt 27:51; Heb 9:3)34Und du sollst den Gnadenstuhl auf die Lade mit dem Gesetz tun, die im Allerheiligsten steht. (Ex 25:21)35Den Tisch aber setze außen vor den Vorhang und den Leuchter dem Tisch gegenüber an die Südseite in der Wohnung, dass der Tisch nach Norden zu steht. (Ex 25:23; Ex 40:22)36Und du sollst eine Decke machen für den Eingang des Zeltes, bunt gewebt aus blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem feinem Leinen37und für die Decke fünf Säulen aus Akazienholz, mit Gold überzogen, mit goldenen Nägeln, und sollst für sie fünf Füße aus Bronze gießen.

Ainsi le tabernacle formera un tout.7»Tu feras des tapis en poil de chèvre qui serviront de tenture par-dessus le tabernacle. Tu en feras 11.8La longueur d'un tapis sera de 15 mètres, et sa largeur de 2 mètres. La mesure sera la même pour les 11 tapis.9Tu attacheras 5 de ces tapis, puis les 6 autres à part, et tu rabattras le sixième tapis sur le devant de la tente.10Tu mettras 50 lacets sur le bord du tapis terminant le premier assemblage et 50 lacets sur le bord du tapis du second assemblage.11Tu feras 50 agrafes en bronze et tu les feras entrer dans les lacets. Tu assembleras ainsi la tente et elle formera un tout.12Comme il y aura du surplus dans les tapis de cette tenture, la moitié du tapis de reste retombera sur l'arrière du tabernacle.13Les 2 demi-mètres qui resteront, de part et d'autre, sur la longueur des tapis de la tente retomberont sur les deux côtés du tabernacle pour le couvrir.14»Tu feras pour la tenture une couverture de peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et une couverture de peaux de dauphins. Elles viendront par-dessus.
Les planches et leurs bases
15»Tu feras des planches pour le tabernacle. Elles seront en bois d'acacia et placées debout.16La longueur d'une planche sera de 5 mètres, et sa largeur de 75 centimètres.17Il y aura à chaque planche 2 tenons parallèles; tu feras de même pour toutes les planches du tabernacle.18»Tu feras 20 planches pour le côté sud du tabernacle.19Tu feras 40 bases en argent à placer sous les 20 planches, 2 bases sous chaque planche, correspondant à ses 2 tenons.20Tu feras 20 planches pour le deuxième côté du tabernacle, le côté nord,21ainsi que leurs 40 bases en argent, 2 bases sous chaque planche.22»Tu feras 6 planches pour le fond du tabernacle, le côté ouest.23Tu feras 2 planches pour les angles du tabernacle, dans le fond;24elles seront doubles depuis le bas et bien reliées à leur sommet par un anneau; il en ira de même pour les 2 planches placées aux 2 angles.25Il y aura ainsi 8 planches avec leurs bases en argent, soit 16 bases, 2 sous chaque planche.26»Tu feras 5 barres en bois d'acacia pour les planches d'un côté du tabernacle,275 barres pour les planches du deuxième côté du tabernacle et 5 barres pour les planches du côté du tabernacle qui forme le fond, orienté à l'ouest.28La barre du milieu traversera les planches d'une extrémité à l'autre.29Tu couvriras les planches d'or, tu feras leurs anneaux destinés à recevoir les barres en or et tu couvriras les barres d'or.30Tu dresseras le tabernacle d'après le modèle qui t'est montré sur la montagne.
Les deux voiles
31»Tu feras un voile bleu, pourpre et cramoisi, et en fin lin retors. Il sera fait selon l'art du brodeur et l'on y représentera des chérubins.32Tu le fixeras à 4 colonnes d'acacia couvertes d'or. Ces colonnes auront des crochets en or et reposeront sur 4 bases en argent.33Tu mettras le voile sous les agrafes et c'est là, derrière le voile, que tu feras pénétrer l'arche du témoignage. Le voile vous servira de séparation entre le lieu saint et le lieu très saint.34Tu mettras le propitiatoire sur l'arche du témoignage dans le lieu très saint.35Tu placeras la table devant le voile et le chandelier en face d'elle, du côté sud du tabernacle; tu mettras la table du côté nord.36»Pour l'entrée de la tente, tu feras un rideau bleu, pourpre et cramoisi, avec du fin lin retors. Ce sera un ouvrage de broderie.37Tu feras pour ce rideau 5 colonnes en acacia et tu les couvriras d'or. Elles auront des crochets en or et tu fondras pour elles 5 bases en bronze.
