1“You are the sons of the Lord your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead. Tithes
22“You shall tithe all the yield of your seed that comes from the field year by year. (Nu 18:21)23And before the Lord your God, in the place that he will choose, to make his name dwell there, you shall eat the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and flock, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always. (De 4:10; De 12:6; De 12:7; De 15:20; De 17:19)24And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, when the Lord your God blesses you, because the place is too far from you, which the Lord your God chooses, to set his name there, (De 12:21)25then you shall turn it into money and bind up the money in your hand and go to the place that the Lord your God chooses26and spend the money for whatever you desire—oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your appetite craves. And you shall eat there before the Lord your God and rejoice, you and your household. Der Zehnte
22Du sollst Jahr für Jahr den Zehnten abgeben von allem Ertrag deiner Saat, der aus dem Acker kommt, (Le 27:30)23und sollst davon essen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an der Stätte, die er erwählt, dass sein Name daselbst wohne, nämlich vom Zehnten deines Getreides, deines Weins, deines Öls und von der Erstgeburt deiner Rinder und deiner Schafe, auf dass du fürchten lernst den HERRN, deinen Gott, allezeit. (De 12:17; De 15:19)24Wenn aber der Weg zu weit ist für dich, dass du’s nicht hintragen kannst, weil die Stätte dir zu fern ist, die der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird, dass er seinen Namen daselbst wohnen lasse, wenn der HERR, dein Gott, dich gesegnet hat,25so mache es zu Geld und nimm das Geld in deine Hand und geh an die Stätte, die der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird,26und gib das Geld für alles, woran dein Herz Lust hat, es sei für Rinder, Schafe, Wein, Bier oder für alles, was dein Herz wünscht, und iss dort vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, und sei fröhlich, du und dein Haus27und der Levit, der in deiner Stadt lebt; den sollst du nicht leer ausgehen lassen, denn er hat weder Anteil noch Erbe mit dir. 3»Tu ne mangeras rien d'abominable.4»Voici les animaux que vous pourrez manger: le bœuf, la brebis et la chèvre;5le cerf, la gazelle et le daim; le bouquetin, le chevreuil, la chèvre sauvage et la girafe.6Vous pourrez manger de tout animal qui a le sabot fendu ou le pied fourchu et qui rumine.7En revanche, vous ne mangerez pas de ceux qui ruminent seulement ou qui ont seulement le sabot fendu ou le pied fourchu. Tu ne feras pas cuire un chevreau dans le lait de sa mère.
Les dîmes
22»Tu prélèveras la dîme de tout ce que produira ta semence, de ce que ton champ rapportera chaque année,23et tu mangeras devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, à l'endroit qu'il choisira pour y faire résider son nom, la dîme de ton blé, de ton vin nouveau et de ton huile, ainsi que les premiers-nés de ton gros et de ton petit bétail. Ainsi tu apprendras à toujours craindre l'Eternel, ton Dieu.24Lorsque l'Eternel, ton Dieu, t'aura béni, peut-être le chemin sera-t-il trop long pour que tu puisses transporter ta dîme, parce que tu habiteras loin de l'endroit que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi pour y faire résider son nom.25Alors, tu échangeras ta dîme contre de l'argent, tu serreras cet argent dans ta main et tu te rendras à l'endroit que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi.26Là, tu achèteras avec cet argent tout ce que tu désireras – bœufs, brebis, vin et liqueurs fortes, tout ce qui te fera plaisir – tu mangeras devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, et tu te réjouiras, toi et ta famille.27Tu ne délaisseras pas le Lévite qui habitera dans ta ville, car il n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi.28»Tous les 3 ans, tu sortiras toute la dîme des produits que tu auras obtenus durant cette troisième année et tu la déposeras dans ta ville.29Alors le Lévite qui n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi, l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve qui habiteront dans ta ville viendront et ils mangeront à satiété. Ainsi l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te bénira dans tous les travaux que tu entreprendras de tes mains.
