2 Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! (Ps 77:12) 3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice! 4 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! Lob Gottes für seine Heilstaten in Israels Frühzeit

1 Danket dem HERRN und rufet an seinen Namen; verkündigt sein Tun unter den Völkern! (1Ch 16:8) 2 Singet ihm und spielet ihm, redet von allen seinen Wundern! 3 Rühmet seinen heiligen Namen; es freue sich das Herz derer, die den HERRN suchen! 4 Fraget nach dem HERRN und nach seiner Macht, suchet sein Antlitz allezeit! 5 Gedenket seiner Wunderwerke, die er getan hat, seiner Zeichen und der Urteile seines Mundes, 6 du Geschlecht Abrahams, seines Knechts, ihr Söhne Jakobs, seine Auserwählten! 7 Er ist der HERR, unser Gott, er richtet in aller Welt. 8 Er gedenkt ewiglich an seinen Bund, an das Wort, das er verheißen hat für tausend Geschlechter, (De 7:9) 9 an den Bund, den er geschlossen hat mit Abraham, und an den Eid, den er Isaak geschworen hat. 10 Er stellte ihn auf für Jakob als Satzung und für Israel als ewigen Bund 11 und sprach: »Dir will ich das Land Kanaan geben, das Los eures Erbteils«, (Ge 13:15) 12 als sie gering waren an Zahl, nur wenige und Fremdlinge im Lande. 13 Und sie zogen von Volk zu Volk, von einem Königreich zum andern. 14 Er ließ keinen Menschen ihnen Schaden tun und wies Könige zurecht um ihretwillen: (Nu 23:7) 15 »Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht an, und tut meinen Propheten kein Leid!« 16 Und er rief den Hunger ins Land und nahm weg allen Vorrat an Brot. (Ge 41:54) 17 Er sandte einen Mann vor ihnen hin; Josef wurde als Knecht verkauft. (Ge 37:28) 18 Sie zwangen seine Füße in Fesseln, sein Hals wurde in Eisen gelegt, 19 bis sein Wort eintraf und die Rede des HERRN ihm recht gab. 20 Da sandte der König hin und ließ ihn losbinden, der Herrscher über Völker, er gab ihn frei. (Ge 41:14) 21 Er setzte ihn zum Herrn über sein Haus, zum Herrscher über alle seine Güter, 22 dass er seine Fürsten unterwiese nach seinem Willen und seine Ältesten Weisheit lehrte. 23 Und Israel zog nach Ägypten, Jakob ward ein Fremdling im Lande Hams. (Ge 46:1; Ge 46:7) 24 Und der Herr ließ sein Volk sehr wachsen und machte sie mächtiger als ihre Feinde. (Ex 1:7; Ex 1:12) 25 Diesen verwandelte er das Herz, / dass sie seinem Volk gram wurden und Arglist übten an seinen Knechten. 26 Er sandte seinen Knecht Mose und Aaron, den er erwählt hatte. (Ex 3:10; Ex 4:14) 27 Die taten seine Zeichen unter ihnen und seine Wunder im Lande Hams. (Ex 7:1) 28 Er sandte Finsternis und machte es finster; doch sie blieben ungehorsam seinen Worten. 29 Er verwandelte ihre Wasser in Blut und tötete ihre Fische. 30 Ihr Land wimmelte von Fröschen bis in die Kammern ihrer Könige. 31 Er gebot, da kam Ungeziefer, Stechmücken in all ihr Gebiet. 32 Er gab ihnen Hagel statt Regen, Feuerflammen in ihrem Lande 33 und schlug ihre Weinstöcke und Feigenbäume und zerbrach die Bäume in ihrem Gebiet. 34 Er gebot, da kamen Heuschrecken und Käfer ohne Zahl; 35 sie fraßen alles Gras in ihrem Lande, und fraßen auch die Frucht ihres Ackers. 36 Er schlug alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten, alle Erstlinge ihrer Kraft. 37 Er führte sie heraus mit Silber und Gold; es war kein Gebrechlicher unter ihren Stämmen. (Ex 12:35) 38 Ägypten wurde froh, dass sie auszogen; denn Furcht vor ihnen war auf sie gefallen. 39 Er breitete eine Wolke aus, sie zu decken, und ein Feuer, die Nacht zu erleuchten. (Ex 13:21; Ex 14:20) 40 Sie baten, da ließ er Wachteln kommen, und er sättigte sie mit Himmelsbrot. (Ex 16:13) 41 Er öffnete den Felsen, da strömten Wasser heraus, sie flossen dahin als Strom in der Wüste. (Ex 17:6) 42 Denn er gedachte an sein heiliges Wort und an Abraham, seinen Knecht. 43 So führte er sein Volk in Freuden heraus und seine Auserwählten mit Jubel 44 und gab ihnen die Länder der Völker, dass sie die Güter der Nationen gewannen, 45 damit sie hielten seine Gebote und seine Gesetze bewahrten. 1 Celebrate il Signore, invocate il suo nome; fate conoscere i suoi prodigi tra i popoli. 2 Cantate e salmeggiate a lui, meditate su tutte le sue meraviglie. 3 Esultate per il suo santo nome; gioisca il cuore di quanti cercano il Signore! 4 Cercate il Signore e la sua forza, cercate sempre il suo volto! 5 Ricordatevi dei prodigi fatti da lui, dei suoi miracoli e dei giudizi della sua bocca, 6 voi, figli di Abraamo, suo servo, discendenza di Giacobbe, suoi eletti! 7 Egli, il Signore, è il nostro Dio; i suoi giudizi si estendono su tutta la terra. 8 Egli si ricorda per sempre del suo patto, della parola da lui data per mille generazioni, 9 del patto che fece con Abraamo, del giuramento che fece a Isacco, 10 che confermò a Giacobbe come uno statuto, a Israele come un patto eterno, 11 dicendo: «Ti darò il paese di Canaan come vostra eredità». 12 Non erano allora che poca gente, pochissimi e stranieri nel paese, 13 e andavano da una nazione all’altra, da un regno a un altro popolo. 14 Egli non permise che alcuno li opprimesse; per amor loro castigò dei re, 15 dicendo: «Non toccate i miei unti e non fate alcun male ai miei profeti». 16 Poi chiamò la carestia nel paese e fece mancare il pane che li sostentava. 17 Mandò davanti a loro un uomo, Giuseppe, che fu venduto come schiavo. 18 Gli legarono i piedi con ceppi; fu oppresso con catene di ferro. 19 Fino al tempo in cui si avverò quanto aveva predetto, la parola del Signore lo affinò. 20 Il re lo fece slegare, il dominatore di popoli lo liberò; 21 lo stabilì signore della sua casa e governatore di tutti i suoi beni, 22 per istruire i prìncipi secondo il suo giudizio e insegnare ai suoi anziani la sapienza. 23 Allora Israele venne in Egitto e Giacobbe soggiornò nel paese di Cam^[1]. 24 Dio moltiplicò grandemente il suo popolo e lo rese più potente dei suoi avversari. 25 Poi mutò il cuore di questi; essi odiarono il suo popolo e tramarono inganni contro i suoi servi. 26 Egli mandò Mosè, suo servo, e Aaronne, che aveva scelto. 27 Essi operarono in mezzo a loro i miracoli da lui ordinati, fecero dei prodigi nella terra di Cam. 28 Mandò le tenebre e si fece buio, eppure non osservarono le sue parole. 29 Cambiò le acque in sangue e fece morire i loro pesci. 30 La terra brulicò di rane, fin nelle camere dei loro re. 31 Egli parlò, e vennero mosche velenose e zanzare in tutto il loro territorio. 32 Mandò loro grandine invece di pioggia, fiamme di fuoco sul loro paese. 33 Colpì le loro vigne e i loro fichi e spezzò gli alberi del loro territorio. 34 Egli parlò, e vennero cavallette e bruchi innumerevoli, 35 che divorarono tutta l’erba del paese e mangiarono il frutto della loro terra. 36 Poi colpì tutti i primogeniti nel loro paese, le primizie del loro vigore. 37 E fece uscire gli Israeliti con argento e oro, e nessuno vacillò nelle sue tribù. 38 Gli Egiziani si rallegrarono della loro partenza, perché erano presi da terrore a causa loro. 39 Egli distese una nuvola per ripararli e accese un fuoco per illuminarli di notte. 40 A loro richiesta fece venire delle quaglie e li saziò con il pane del cielo. 41 Aprì la roccia e ne scaturirono acque: esse scorrevano come fiume nel deserto. 42 Egli si ricordò della sua santa parola e anche di Abraamo, suo servo. 43 Fece uscire il suo popolo con letizia e i suoi eletti con grida di gioia. 44 Diede loro le terre delle nazioni ed essi ereditarono il frutto della fatica dei popoli, 45 perché osservassero i suoi statuti e ubbidissero alle sue leggi.
