1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! (Ps 36:5; Isa 48:11; Eze 36:22; Da 9:18) 2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” (Ex 32:12; Nu 14:13; Ps 42:3) 3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. (Ps 11:4; Ps 135:6; Da 4:35) 4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. (De 4:28; 2Ki 19:18; Ps 135:15; Isa 37:19; Isa 44:10; Jer 10:3; Ac 19:26) 5 They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. (Isa 46:7; Hab 2:18) 6 They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell. 7 They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. 8 Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them. (Isa 44:9) 9 O Israel,[1] trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. (Ps 33:20; Ps 37:3; Ps 62:8; Ps 118:2; Ps 135:19) 10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. (Ps 3:3; Ps 115:9) 11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. (Ps 22:23; Ps 103:11; Ps 103:13; Ps 103:17) 12 The Lord has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron; (Ps 118:2; Ps 135:19) 13 he will bless those who fear the Lord, both the small and the great. (Ps 112:1; Jer 16:6; Jer 31:34) 14 May the Lord give you increase, you and your children! (De 1:11) 15 May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth! (Ge 1:1; Ge 14:19; Ru 2:20; Ps 121:2; Ps 124:8; Ps 134:3; Ps 146:6; Jer 10:11; Ac 14:15; Re 14:7) 16 The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man. 17 The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence. (Ps 6:5; Ps 31:17) 18 But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord! (Ps 104:35; Ps 113:2)

1 (Verse 4-11: vgl. Ps 135,15-20) Nicht uns, HERR, nicht uns, / sondern deinem Namen gib Ehre um deiner Gnade und Treue willen! 2 Warum sollen die Heiden sagen: Wo ist denn ihr Gott? (Ps 42:4) 3 Unser Gott ist im Himmel; er kann schaffen, was er will. 4 Ihre Götzen aber sind Silber und Gold, von Menschenhänden gemacht. (De 4:28; Isa 44:9) 5 Sie haben einen Mund und reden nicht, sie haben Augen und sehen nicht, 6 sie haben Ohren und hören nicht, sie haben Nasen und riechen nicht, 7 sie haben Hände und greifen nicht, / Füße haben sie und gehen nicht, und kein Laut kommt aus ihrer Kehle. 8 Die solche Götzen machen, werden ihnen gleich, alle, die auf sie vertrauen. 9 Aber Israel hoffe auf den HERRN! Er ist ihre Hilfe und Schild. 10 Das Haus Aaron hoffe auf den HERRN! Er ist ihre Hilfe und Schild. 11 Die ihr den HERRN fürchtet, hoffet auf den HERRN! Er ist ihre Hilfe und Schild. 12 Der HERR denkt an uns und segnet uns; er segnet das Haus Israel, er segnet das Haus Aaron. 13 Er segnet, die den HERRN fürchten, die Kleinen und die Großen. 14 Der HERR mehre euch, euch und eure Kinder. 15 Ihr seid die Gesegneten des HERRN, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat. (Ps 134:3) 16 Der Himmel ist der Himmel des HERRN; aber die Erde hat er den Menschenkindern gegeben. 17 Nicht die Toten loben den HERRN, keiner, der hinunterfährt in die Stille; (Isa 38:18) 18 wir aber, wir loben den HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. Halleluja!

1 No a nosotros, oh YHVH, no a nosotros, Sino a tu Nombre da gloria, Por tu misericordia, por tu verdad. 2 ¿Por qué han de decir los gentiles: Dónde está su Dios? 3 Nuestro Dios está en los cielos, Todo lo que quiere hace. 4 Los ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre. 5 Tienen boca, y no hablan, Tienen ojos, y no ven, 6 Tienen orejas, y no oyen, Tienen narices, y no huelen, 7 Tienen manos, y no palpan, Tienen pies, y no andan, No emiten sonido con su garganta. 8 Semejantes a ellos son los que los hacen, Y cualquiera que confía en ellos. 9 ¡Oh Israel, confía en YHVH! (Él es su ayuda y escudo.) 10 ¡Oh casa de Aarón, confía en YHVH! (Él es su ayuda y escudo.) 11 ¡Los que teméis a YHVH, confiad en YHVH! (Él es su ayuda y escudo.) 12 YHVH se acordó de nosotros, Él nos bendecirá, Bendecirá a la casa de Israel, Bendecirá a la casa de Aarón, 13 Bendecirá a los que temen a YHVH, A pequeños y a grandes. 14 YHVH acreciente sobre vosotros, Sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos. 15 Benditos vosotros de YHVH, Que hizo los cielos y la tierra. 16 Los cielos son los cielos de YHVH, Y ha dado la tierra a los hijos del hombre. 17 No alabarán los muertos a YH, Ni cuantos bajan al silencio. 18 Pero nosotros bendecimos a YH Desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Aleluya!

1 Non pas à nous, ╵ô Eternel, ╵non pas à nous, mais à toi seul la gloire, pour ton amour ╵et ta fidélité! 2 Pourquoi les autres peuples diraient-ils: « Où est leur Dieu? » 3 Notre Dieu est au ciel, il fait tout ce qu’il veut. 4 Mais leurs idoles sont d’argent et d’or, fabriquées par des hommes. 5 Elles ont une bouche ╵mais ne peuvent parler! Elles ont bien des yeux, ╵mais elles ne voient pas. 6 Elles ont des oreilles, ╵mais qui n’entendent rien; elles ont des narines ╵mais qui ne sentent rien. 7 Elles ont bien des mains, ╵mais ne peuvent toucher; elles ont bien des pieds, ╵mais ne peuvent marcher. De leur gorge, jamais ╵aucun son ne s’échappe. 8 Ils leur ressemblent, ╵tous ceux qui les fabriquent, tous ceux qui mettent leur confiance en elles[1]. (Ps 135:15) 9 Gens d’Israël, ╵mettez votre confiance ╵en l’Eternel! Il est votre secours ╵et votre bouclier. 10 Descendants d’Aaron[2], ╵mettez votre confiance ╵en l’Eternel! Il est votre secours ╵et votre bouclier. (Ex 28:1; Ex 28:43) 11 Et vous qui craignez l’Eternel, ╵mettez votre confiance ╵en l’Eternel! Il est votre secours ╵et votre bouclier. 12 L’Eternel s’occupe de nous: ╵il bénira; il bénira ╵le peuple d’Israël. Il bénira ╵la descendance d’Aaron. 13 Il bénira ╵tous ceux qui craignent l’Eternel, du plus petit ╵jusqu’au plus grand. 14 Que l’Eternel ╵vous multiplie, et vous et vos enfants! 15 Soyez bénis par l’Eternel qui a fait le ciel et la terre! 16 Le ciel? Il appartient à l’Eternel; quant à la terre, ╵il l’a donnée aux hommes. 17 Les morts ne louent pas l’Eternel, ni aucun de ceux qui descendent ╵au pays du silence. 18 Quant à nous, nous bénirons l’Eternel, dès maintenant ╵et à jamais. Louez l’Eternel!
