6 For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the heavenly beings^[2] is like the LORD, (Ps 86:8; Ps 89:8) 7 a God greatly to be feared in the council of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around him? (Ps 47:2; Ps 89:5; Ps 103:20; Ps 103:21)

28 My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm^[4] for him. (Ps 3:1) 29 I will establish his offspring forever and his throne as the days of the heavens. 1 Cantique d'Éthan, l'Ézrachite. 2 Je chanterai toujours les bontés de l'Éternel; Ma bouche fera connaître à jamais ta fidélité. 3 Car je dis: La bonté a des fondements éternels; Tu établis ta fidélité dans les cieux. 4 J'ai fait alliance avec mon élu; Voici ce que j'ai juré à David, mon serviteur: 5 J'affermirai ta postérité pour toujours, Et j'établirai ton trône à perpétuité. Pause. 6 Les cieux célèbrent tes merveilles, ô Éternel! Et ta fidélité dans l'assemblée des saints. 7 Car qui, dans le ciel, peut se comparer à l'Éternel? Qui est semblable à toi parmi les fils de Dieu? 8 Dieu est terrible dans la grande assemblée des saints, Il est redoutable pour tous ceux qui l'entourent. 9 Éternel, Dieu des armées! qui est comme toi puissant, ô Éternel?
