(Ps 10:8)33The Lord will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial. (Ps 109:31; 2Pe 2:9)34Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. (Ps 27:14; Ps 37:9; Ps 52:5; Ps 91:8)35I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree.[4] (Job 5:3; Ps 52:8)36But he passed away,[5] and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found. (Job 20:5; Ps 37:10)37Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. (Ps 37:11; Ps 119:165; Isa 57:2)38But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. (Job 18:17; Ps 52:5; Ps 73:17; Ps 104:35; Pr 2:22)39The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. (Ps 3:8; Ps 9:9)40The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. (Ps 20:5; Ps 36:10)5Überlass dem HERRN die Führung in deinem Leben; vertrau doch auf ihn, er macht es richtig! (Ps 55:23; Pr 16:3)6Deine guten Taten macht er sichtbar wie das Licht des Tages, und deine Treue lässt er strahlen wie die Mittagssonne.7Werde ruhig vor dem HERRN und warte gelassen auf sein Tun! Wenn Menschen, die Böses im Schilde führen, auch noch ständig Erfolg haben, reg dich nicht auf!8Lass dich nicht hinreißen zu Wut und Zorn, ereifere dich nicht, wenn andere Böses tun; sonst tust du am Ende selber Unrecht!9Menschen, die sich Gott widersetzen, rottet er aus; doch alle, die auf ihn hoffen, werden das Land besitzen.10Nicht lange mehr, dann sind die Bösen fort, du wirst von ihnen keine Spur mehr finden.11Den Armen aber wird das Land gehören und nichts wird fehlen an ihrem Glück. (Mt 5:5)12Wer Gott missachtet, schmiedet Pläne, zähneknirschend und voller Hass, um denen zu schaden, die Gott gehorchen.13Der Herr aber lacht über seine Feinde, er weiß: Der Tag der Abrechnung kommt. (Ps 59:9)14Die Bösen haben das Schwert gezogen, den Bogen haben sie schon gespannt. Sie wollen die Armen und Wehrlosen töten, alle, die ein ehrliches Leben führen.15Doch das Schwert dringt ihnen ins eigene Herz und ihre Bogen werden zerbrochen.16Arm sein, aber mit Gott leben ist besser als aller Reichtum der vielen, die gegen Gott leben; (Pr 15:16)17denn der Herr zerbricht die Macht seiner Gegner, doch seine Getreuen macht er stark.18Der HERR sorgt täglich für die, die sich in allem nach ihm richten. Was er ihnen geben will, bleibt für immer ihr Besitz.19In Unglückstagen enttäuscht er sie nicht, in Zeiten der Hungersnot macht er sie satt.20Doch seine Feinde kommen um, die Bösen verschwinden wie die Pracht der Wiesen, sie gehen in Rauch auf und verwehen.21Wer Gott missachtet, muss ständig borgen, und zurückzahlen kann er nicht. Doch wer Gott gehorcht, kann freigebig helfen.22Menschen, die Gott segnet, besitzen das Land; doch wer unter seinem Fluch steht, kommt um.23Der HERR hat Freude an einem redlichen Menschen und lenkt alle seine Schritte.24Er mag fallen, aber er stürzt nicht zu Boden; denn der HERR hält ihn fest an der Hand. (Pr 24:16)25Ich habe ein langes Leben hinter mir; nie sah ich Menschen von Gott verlassen, die ihm die Treue halten, und nie ihre Kinder auf der Suche nach Brot. (Ec 7:15)26Alle Tage können sie freigebig leihen und an ihren Kindern zeigt sich Gottes Segen.27Kehr dich vom Bösen ab und tu das Gute; dann ist dir dein Wohnplatz für immer sicher.28Denn der HERR liebt das Recht und verlässt die Seinen nicht, die ihm treu bleiben; für alle Zeiten beschützt er sie. Aber die Nachkommen der Feinde Gottes kommen um.29Den Gehorsamen wird das Land gehören, sie dürfen für immer darin wohnen. (Ps 25:13; Isa 60:21)30Ein Mensch, der sich nach Gott richtet, spricht Worte der Weisheit und sagt, was recht ist vor dem HERRN. (Pr 10:31)31Das Gesetz seines Gottes trägt er im Herzen; darum weicht er nicht vom richtigen Weg.32Wer Gott missachtet, lauert darauf, die umzubringen, die Gott gehorchen.33Doch der HERR lässt nicht zu, dass sie in Mörderhände fallen oder dass man sie gegen das Recht verurteilt.34Hoffe auf den HERRN und befolge seine Gebote;[1] dann ehrt er dich und schenkt dir das Land, und du wirst sehen, wie er seine Feinde vernichtet.35Ich sah einen Bösen, der seine Macht missbrauchte; er wurde immer größer, wie ein Baum auf fettem Boden.36Aber als ich[2] noch einmal vorüberging, da war nichts mehr von ihm zu sehen. Ich suchte ihn, doch ich fand keine Spur.37Achte auf unsträfliche, ehrliche Menschen und du wirst sehen: Wer den Frieden liebt, dessen Nachkommen bleiben.38Doch die Unheilstifter werden alle vernichtet und ihre Nachkommen werden ausgerottet.39Der HERR hilft denen, die zu ihm halten. Wenn Gefahr droht, finden sie bei ihm Zuflucht.40Er rettet sie und steht ihnen bei. Vor den Bösen wird er sie retten und ihnen helfen, denn bei ihm suchen sie Schutz.
