Great Are the Lord’s Works

1 ^[1] Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation. (Ps 104:35; Ps 138:1; Ps 149:1) 2 Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. (Ps 92:5; Ps 112:1; Ps 119:45; Ps 119:94; Ps 119:155; Ps 139:14; Ps 143:5; Re 3:2)

3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever. (Ps 112:3; Ps 112:9; Ps 145:5) 4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful. (Ps 78:4) 5 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. (Ps 105:8) 6 He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations. 7 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy; (Ps 19:7; Ps 93:5) 8 they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. 1 Halleluja – Preist den HERRN! Von Herzen will ich den HERRN preisen unter denen, die zu ihm halten, inmitten der Gemeinde. (Ps 22:23) 2 Wie gewaltig sind die Taten des HERRN! Alle, die Freude an ihnen haben, denken ständig über sie nach. 3 Sein Tun ist voller Hoheit und Pracht; seine Gerechtigkeit hat für immer Bestand. 4 Er selbst hat Gedenktage gestiftet, damit seine großen Taten nicht vergessen werden. Voll Güte und Erbarmen ist der HERR! (Ex 12:24; Ex 13:8; Ps 78:5) 5 Alle, die ihm gehorchten, machte er satt; niemals vergisst er seinen Bund mit ihnen. (Ps 105:40) 6 Er zeigte seinem Volk, wie mächtig er ist: er gab ihm die Länder anderer Völker. (Ps 105:44) 7 Was er tut, ist zuverlässig und richtig. Seine Gebote verdienen Vertrauen; 8 für alle Zeiten stehen sie fest, sie sind genau und treu zu befolgen. 9 Der HERR hat sein Volk befreit und einen Bund mit ihm geschlossen, der für immer gilt. Heilig und Ehrfurcht gebietend ist er! 10 Den HERRN stets ernst zu nehmen, damit fängt alle Weisheit an. Wer es tut, beweist Verstand. Der Ruhm des HERRN hört niemals auf! (Pr 1:7)
