His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! (Ps 50:14; Ps 66:1) 2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Ps 2:11; Ps 95:2) 3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;^[1] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (1Ki 18:39; Job 10:3; Job 10:8; Ps 74:1; Ps 95:6; Isa 43:1; Eze 34:30)

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! Wir sind sein Volk

1 Ein Danklied. Jubelt dem HERRN zu, ihr Bewohner der Erde! (Ps 66:1; Ps 98:4) 2 Stellt euch freudig in seinen Dienst! Kommt zu ihm mit lautem Jauchzen! 3 Denkt daran: Der HERR allein ist Gott! Er hat uns geschaffen und ihm gehören wir.^[1] Sein Volk sind wir, er sorgt für uns wie ein Hirt für seine Herde. (Ex 19:5; Ps 74:1) 4 Geht durch die Tempeltore mit einem Danklied, betretet den Festplatz mit Lobgesang! Preist ihn, dankt ihm für seine Taten! (Ps 122:2) 5 Denn der HERR ist gut zu uns, seine Liebe hört niemals auf, von einer Generation zur anderen bleibt er treu. (Ps 118:1)
