1 The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! (1Ch 16:31; Ps 80:1; Ps 93:1; Ps 96:9; Isa 24:19) 2 The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples. (Ps 92:8; Ps 93:4; Ps 113:4; Isa 24:23) 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he! (De 28:58; Jos 24:19; Ps 111:9; Isa 6:3; Re 15:4) 4 The King in his might loves justice.[1] You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. (Job 36:5; Ps 11:7; Ps 99:1; Isa 61:8) 5 Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he! (Ex 15:2; 1Ch 28:2; Ps 99:3; Ps 107:32; Ps 118:28; Ps 132:7; Isa 25:1; Isa 60:13; La 2:1; Eze 43:7) 6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called upon his name. They called to the Lord, and he answered them. (Ex 14:15; Ex 17:11; Ex 24:6; Ex 32:30; Ex 40:22; Le 8:1; Nu 12:13; Nu 16:48; De 9:18; 1Sa 7:9; 1Sa 12:18; Ps 105:1; Ps 106:23; Jer 15:1) 7 In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them; they kept his testimonies and the statute that he gave them. (Ex 33:9; Nu 12:5; Ps 105:28) 8 O Lord our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings. (Ex 32:35; Nu 14:20; Nu 20:12; De 9:20; Jer 46:28) 9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy! (Ps 2:6)

1 Der HERR ist König! Über den Kerubim ist sein Thron; die Völker zittern und die Erde bebt. (Ex 25:22; Ps 47:6) 2 Der HERR ist mächtig in der Zionsstadt, ein gewaltiger Herrscher über alle Völker. 3 Sie alle sollen dich preisen, dich, den großen, Ehrfurcht gebietenden Gott! Heilig bist du! 4 Dir, dem König, gehört die Macht und du kümmerst dich um das Recht. Du hast die Regeln für unser Leben aufgestellt, in Israel[1] Recht und Ordnung festgelegt. (Ps 7:12) 5 Rühmt den HERRN, unseren Gott! Werft euch nieder vor seinem Thron! Heilig ist er! 6 Mose und Aaron waren seine Priester, auch Samuel war unter denen, die zu ihm rufen; sie beteten zu ihm und er gab ihnen Antwort. 7 Er sprach zu ihnen aus der Wolkensäule und sie hüteten die Mahnungen und Gebote, die er ihnen anvertraute. (Ex 33:11) 8 HERR, unser Gott, du hast ihre Bitten erhört: Du hast deinem Volk die Schuld vergeben, doch die Folgen seiner Taten musste es tragen. (Ex 34:7) 9 Rühmt den HERRN, unseren Gott! Werft euch nieder vor seinem heiligen Berg! Der HERR, unser Gott, ist heilig! (Ps 76:3)
