1 Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! (1Ch 16:23; Ps 33:3; Ps 98:1) 2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. (Isa 52:7; Isa 60:6) 3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! 4 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. (Ps 18:3; Ps 48:1; Ps 95:3) 5 For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. (Ps 115:15; Isa 42:5; Isa 44:24; Jer 10:12) 6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. (Ps 78:61) 7 Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! (Ps 22:27; Ps 29:1) 8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! (Ps 29:2; Ps 45:12; Ps 68:29; Ps 72:10; Ps 100:4) 9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;[1] tremble before him, all the earth! (Ps 29:2; Ps 114:7) 10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.” (Ps 9:8; Ps 58:11; Ps 93:1; Ps 96:13) 11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; (Ps 69:34; Ps 97:1; Ps 98:7) 12 let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy (Isa 35:1; Isa 55:12) 13 before the Lord, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness. (Isa 11:1)

1 Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, / singt dem HERRN, alle Lande, (1Ch 16:23; Ps 33:3) 2 singt dem HERRN, preist seinen Namen! Verkündet sein Heil von Tag zu Tag! / 3 Erzählt bei den Nationen von seiner Herrlichkeit, bei allen Völkern von seinen Wundern! (Ps 108:4) 4 Denn groß ist der HERR und hoch zu loben, mehr zu fürchten als alle Götter. (Ps 48:2; Ps 95:3) 5 Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Nichtse, aber der HERR ist es, der den Himmel gemacht hat. 6 Hoheit und Pracht sind vor seinem Angesicht, Macht und Glanz in seinem Heiligtum. 7 Bringt dar dem HERRN, ihr Stämme der Völker, / bringt dar dem HERRN Ehre und Macht, (Ps 29:1) 8 bringt dar dem HERRN die Ehre seines Namens! Bringt Gaben und tretet ein in die Höfe seines Heiligtums! / 9 Werft euch nieder vor dem HERRN in heiligem Schmuck! Erbebt vor ihm, alle Lande! 10 Verkündet bei den Nationen: Der HERR ist König! / Fest ist der Erdkreis gegründet, er wird nicht wanken. Er richtet die Völker so, wie es recht ist. (Ps 24:7; Ps 75:3) 11 Der Himmel freue sich, die Erde frohlocke, es brause das Meer und seine Fülle. (Ps 98:7) 12 Es jauchze die Flur und was auf ihr wächst. Jubeln sollen alle Bäume des Waldes (Isa 55:12) 13 vor dem HERRN, denn er kommt, denn er kommt, um die Erde zu richten. Er richtet den Erdkreis in Gerechtigkeit und die Völker nach seiner Treue. (Ps 9:9; Ps 98:9; Ac 17:31)

1 Chantez à l’Eternel ╵un cantique nouveau! Chantez à l’Eternel, ╵vous, gens du monde entier![1] (1Ch 16:23) 2 Chantez à l’Eternel ╵bénissez-le! Annoncez chaque jour ╵la bonne nouvelle de son salut! 3 Oui, publiez sa gloire ╵au milieu des nations! Racontez ses prodiges ╵chez tous les peuples! 4 Car l’Eternel est grand ╵et digne de louanges, et il est redoutable ╵bien plus que tous les dieux. 5 Car tous les dieux des peuples ╵ne sont que des faux dieux, alors que l’Eternel ╵a fait le ciel. 6 Splendeur et majesté ╵rayonnent de son être, et puissance et beauté ╵ornent son sanctuaire. 7 Célébrez l’Eternel, ╵vous, gens de tous les peuples, célébrez l’Eternel, ╵en proclamant ╵sa gloire et sa puissance! 8 Célébrez l’Eternel ╵et son nom glorieux! Apportez vos offrandes, ╵entrez dans ses parvis, 9 et prosternez-vous devant l’Eternel ╵dont la sainteté brille avec éclat[2]! Vous, gens du monde entier, ╵tremblez devant sa face! (Ps 29:2) 10 Qu’à tout peuple on proclame ╵que l’Eternel est roi! Aussi le monde est ferme, ╵il n’est pas ébranlé. Dieu juge avec droiture ╵les peuples de la terre. 11 Que le ciel soit en joie et que la terre exulte d’allégresse, que la mer retentisse ╵et tout ce qui l’habite! 12 Que toute la campagne ╵et tout ce qui s’y trouve ╵se réjouissent! Que, dans les bois, les arbres ╵poussent des cris de joie 13 devant l’Eternel, car il vient, il vient pour gouverner[3] la terre. Oui, il gouvernera le monde ╵selon ce qui est juste, et il gouvernera les peuples ╵selon la vérité ╵qui est en lui. (Ps 82:8)
