1 These are the stages of the people of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their companies under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. 2 Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the LORD, and these are their stages according to their starting places. (Nu 9:17) 3 They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover, the people of Israel went out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians, (Ex 12:2; Ex 12:37; Ex 13:4; Ex 14:8) 4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them. On their gods also the LORD executed judgments. (Ex 12:12; Ex 12:29; Isa 19:1) 5 So the people of Israel set out from Rameses and camped at Succoth. (Ex 12:37) 6 And they set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness. (Ex 13:20) 7 And they set out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which is east of Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol. (Ex 14:2; Ex 14:9) 8 And they set out from before Hahiroth[1] and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and they went a three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah. (Ex 14:22; Ex 15:22; Ex 15:23) 9 And they set out from Marah and came to Elim; at Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there. (Ex 15:27) 10 And they set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea. 11 And they set out from the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin. (Ex 16:1) 12 And they set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah. 13 And they set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush. 14 And they set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink. (Ex 17:1) 15 And they set out from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai. (Ex 19:1; Ex 19:2) 16 And they set out from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hattaavah. (Nu 11:34) 17 And they set out from Kibroth-hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth. (Nu 11:35; Nu 12:16) 18 And they set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah. (Nu 12:16) 19 And they set out from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-perez. 20 And they set out from Rimmon-perez and camped at Libnah. 21 And they set out from Libnah and camped at Rissah. 22 And they set out from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah. 23 And they set out from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher. 24 And they set out from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah. 25 And they set out from Haradah and camped at Makheloth. 26 And they set out from Makheloth and camped at Tahath. 27 And they set out from Tahath and camped at Terah. 28 And they set out from Terah and camped at Mithkah. 29 And they set out from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah. 30 And they set out from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth. 31 And they set out from Moseroth and camped at Bene-jaakan. (Nu 20:1; Nu 27:14) 37 And they set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the edge of the land of Edom. (Nu 20:1; Nu 20:14; Nu 20:22; Nu 20:23; Nu 21:4; Nu 34:7; Nu 34:8) 38 And Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor at the command of the LORD and died there, in the fortieth year after the people of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month. (Nu 20:25; De 10:6; De 32:50) 39 And Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor. (Ex 7:7) 40 And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the Negeb in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the people of Israel. (Nu 21:1) 41 And they set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah. 42 And they set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon. 43 And they set out from Punon and camped at Oboth. (Nu 21:10) 44 And they set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim, in the territory of Moab. (Nu 21:11) 45 And they set out from Iyim and camped at Dibon-gad. (Nu 21:30; Nu 32:34) 46 And they set out from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim. 47 And they set out from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo. (De 32:49) 48 And they set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho; (Nu 22:1) 49 they camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab. (Nu 25:1) 50 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 51 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, (De 9:1; Jos 3:17) 52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places. (Ex 23:24; Ex 23:33; Ex 34:13; Le 26:1; Nu 32:21; De 7:2; De 7:5; De 12:3) 53 And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it. 54 You shall inherit the land by lot according to your clans. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for anyone, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit. (Nu 26:53; Nu 26:54; Nu 26:55; Nu 35:8) 55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those of them whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land where you dwell. (Jos 23:13; Jud 2:3; Ps 106:34; Ps 106:36) 56 And I will do to you as I thought to do to them.” (De 28:63)

1 Estas son las jornadas de los hijos de Israel cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto por escuadrones, bajo el mando de Moisés y Aarón. 2 Por mandato de YHVH Moisés escribió los puntos de salida según sus jornadas. Y estas son sus jornadas conforme a sus puntos de partida: 3 Partieron de Rameses en el mes primero, el día quince del mes primero, a la mañana siguiente de la Pascua, salieron los hijos de Israel con mano poderosa, a la vista de todos los egipcios, 4 mientras los egipcios enterraban a todos sus primogénitos, a los que YHVH había herido de muerte. También YHVH había ejecutado actos justicieros contra sus dioses. 5 Partieron, pues, los hijos de Israel de Rameses y acamparon en Sucot. 6 Partieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, que está al borde del desierto. 7 Partieron de Etam y se volvieron hacia Pi-hahirot, que está delante de Baal- zefón, y acamparon frente a Migdol. 8 Partieron de Pi-hahirot y pasaron por medio del mar hacia el desierto, y anduvieron tres jornadas por el desierto de Etam, y acamparon en Mara. 9 Partieron de Mara, y llegaron a Elim, donde había doce fuentes de agua y setenta palmeras, y allí acamparon. 10 Partieron de Elim y acamparon junto al Mar Rojo. 11 Partieron del Mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin. 12 Partieron del desierto de Sin y acamparon en Dofca. 13 Partieron de Dofca y acamparon en Alús. 14 Partieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidim, donde no había agua que beber para el pueblo. 15 Partieron de Refidim y acamparon en el desierto de Sinay. 16 Luego partieron del desierto de Sinay y acamparon en Kibrot-hatava. 17 Partieron de Kibrot-hatava y acamparon en Haserot. 18 Partieron de Haserot y acamparon en Ritma. 19 Partieron de Ritma y acamparon en Rimón-peres. 20 Partieron de Rimón-peres y acamparon en Libna. 21 Partieron de Libna y acamparon en Rissa. 22 Partieron de Rissa y acamparon en Cee­lata. 23 Partieron de Ceelata y acamparon en el monte Sefer. 24 Partieron del monte Sefer y acamparon en Harada. 25 Partieron de Harada y acamparon en Macelot. 26 Partieron de Macelot y acamparon en Tahat. 27 Partieron de Tahat y acamparon en Tara. 28 Partieron de Tara y acamparon en Mitca. 29 Partieron de Mitca y acamparon en Hasmona. 30 Partieron de Hasmona y acamparon en Moserot. 31 Partieron de Moserot y acamparon en Beney-Jaacán. 32 Partieron de Beney-Jaacán y acamparon en el monte Gidgad. 33 Partieron del monte Gidgad y acamparon en Jotbata. 34 Partieron de Jotbata y acamparon en Abrona. 35 Partieron de Abrona y acamparon en Ezión-geber. 36 Partieron de Ezión-geber y acamparon en el desierto de Sin, que es Cades. 37 Partieron de Cades y acamparon en el monte Hor, en la frontera de la tierra de Edom. 38 Y por el dicho de YHVH, el sacerdote Aarón subió al monte Hor, y allí murió, a los cuarenta años de la salida de los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto, en el mes quinto, el día primero del mes. 39 Y Aarón tenía ciento veintitrés años cuando murió en el monte Hor. 40 Entonces, el rey de Arad, cananeo, que habitaba en el Neguev, en la tierra de Canaán, oyó de la llegada de los hijos de Israel. 41 Entonces partieron del monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmona. 42 Partieron de Zalmona y acamparon en Funón. 43 Partieron de Funón y acamparon en Obot. 44 Partieron de Obot y acamparon en Ije-abarim, frontera de Moab. 45 Partieron de Ije-abarim y acamparon en Dibón-Gad. 46 Partieron de Dibón-Gad y acamparon en Almón-diblataim. 47 Partieron de Almón-diblataim y acamparon en los montes del Abarim, delante del Nebo. 48 Partieron de los montes de Abarim y acamparon en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, en Jericó. 49 Finalmente, acamparon junto al Jordán, desde Bet-jesimot hasta Abel Sitim, en las llanuras de Moab. 50 Habló YHVH a Moisés en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó, diciendo: 51 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando crucéis el Jordán hacia la tierra de Canaán, 52 expulsaréis de delante de vosotros a todos los moradores del país, y destruiréis todas sus esculturas y todas sus imágenes de fundición, y destruiréis todos sus lugares altos. 53 Tomaréis posesión de la tierra, y habitaréis en ella, porque Yo os he dado esa tierra para que la poseáis. 54 Y os apropiaréis de la tierra echando suertes entre vuestras familias. Al grande aumentaréis su posesión, y al pequeño disminuiréis su posesión. Aquello que le toque en suerte a cada uno, suyo será. Tomaréis posesión según las tribus de vuestros padres. 55 Pero si no expulsáis de delante de vosotros a los habitantes del país, sucederá que los que de ellos hayáis dejado vendrán a ser como aguijones en vuestros ojos y como espinas en vuestros costados, y os acosarán en la tierra donde habitéis, 56 y resultará que os trataré a vosotros como había decidido tratarlos a ellos.
