2 So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt all das Unheil gesehen, das ich über Jerusalem und über alle Städte Judas gebracht habe – und siehe, sie sind am heutigen Tag eine Trümmerstätte, und niemand wohnt darin, (Jer 8,3; Jer 34,22; Jer 44,22; Kla 1,1; Kla 5,18; Sach 1,6)

3 um ihrer Bosheit willen, die sie verübt haben, um mich zu reizen, indem sie hingingen, Rauchopfer darzubringen und anderen Göttern zu dienen, die sie nicht kannten, weder sie noch ihr noch eure Väter. (5Mo 29,25; Jer 16,10; Jer 19,3) 4 Und ich habe alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, zu euch gesandt, früh mich aufmachend und sendend, indem ich sprach: Tut doch nicht diesen Gräuel, den ich hasse! 5 Aber sie haben nicht gehört und ihr Ohr nicht geneigt, dass sie von ihrer Bosheit umgekehrt wären und anderen Göttern keine Rauchopfer mehr darbrächten. (Neh 9,30; Jer 11,13; Hos 11,2; Offb 2,21)

8 dadurch, dass ihr mich mit den Werken eurer Hände reizt, dadurch, dass ihr anderen Göttern Rauchopfer darbringt im Land Ägypten, wohin ihr gekommen seid, um euch dort als Fremde aufzuhalten, sodass ihr euch ausrottet und zum Fluch und zur Schmach werdet unter allen Nationen der Erde? 9 Habt ihr die bösen Taten eurer Väter vergessen und die bösen Taten der Könige von Juda und die bösen Taten ihrer Frauen und eure ⟨eigenen⟩ bösen Taten und die bösen Taten eurer Frauen, die sie im Land Juda und auf den Straßen von Jerusalem getan haben? (5Mo 9,7; Esr 9,7) 10 Bis auf diesen Tag haben sie sich^[5] nicht gedemütigt^[6], und sie haben sich nicht gefürchtet und haben nicht in meinem Gesetz gelebt^[7] und in meinen Ordnungen, die ich euch und euren Vätern vorgelegt habe. – (Pred 8,12; Jes 42,24; Jer 5,3) 11 Darum, so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will mein Angesicht gegen euch richten zum Unheil und zur Ausrottung von ganz Juda. (3Mo 20,5; Jer 21,10) 12 Und ich werde den Rest von Juda wegraffen, ⟨alle,⟩ die ihre Gesichter darauf gerichtet haben, in das Land Ägypten zu ziehen, um sich dort als Fremde aufzuhalten. Und sie sollen alle vollständig aufgerieben werden, im Land Ägypten sollen sie fallen. Durch das Schwert, durch den Hunger sollen sie aufgerieben werden, vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten; durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger sollen sie sterben. Und sie sollen zum Fluch, zum Entsetzen und zur Verwünschung und zur Schmach werden. (Jer 24,9; Jer 42,15; Jer 43,11; Hos 9,6)

13 Und ich will die im Land Ägypten Wohnenden heimsuchen, wie ich Jerusalem heimgesucht habe durch das Schwert, durch den Hunger und durch die Pest. (Jer 24,9; Jer 42,15; Jer 43,11; Hos 9,6)

14 Und der Rest von Juda, diejenigen, die in das Land Ägypten gekommen sind, um sich dort als Fremde aufzuhalten, wird keinen Entkommenen und Entronnenen haben, um in das Land Juda zurückzukehren, wohin sie sich sehnen zurückzukehren, um dort zu wohnen; denn sie werden nicht zurückkehren, außer ⟨einigen⟩ Entkommenen. 18 Aber seitdem wir aufgehört haben, der Königin des Himmels Rauchopfer darzubringen und ihr Trankopfer zu spenden, haben wir an allem Mangel gehabt und sind durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger aufgerieben worden. (Mal 3,14) 19 Und wenn wir der Königin des Himmels Rauchopfer darbrachten und ihr Trankopfer spendeten, haben wir ihr da etwa ohne unsere Männer^[8] Kuchen bereitet, um sie ⟨so⟩ nachzubilden, und ihr Trankopfer gespendet? (4Mo 30,7) 20 Und Jeremia sagte zum ganzen Volk, zu den Männern, zu den Frauen und zum ganzen Volk, das ihm Antwort gegeben hatte: (Hes 2,3) 21 Das Rauchopfer, das ihr in den Städten Judas und auf den Straßen von Jerusalem dargebracht habt^[9], ihr und eure Väter, eure Könige und eure Obersten und das Volk des Landes – hat der HERR nicht daran gedacht, und hat er es nicht gemerkt^[10]? (Jer 11,13; Am 8,7) 22 Und der HERR konnte es nicht mehr ertragen wegen der Bosheit eurer Taten, wegen der Gräuel, die ihr verübt habt. Darum ist euer Land zur Trümmerstätte, zum Entsetzen und zum Fluch geworden, ohne Bewohner, wie es an diesem Tag ist. (2Kön 17,15; Jer 5,9; Jer 15,6; Dan 9,11)

23 Weil ihr Rauchopfer dargebracht und gegen den HERRN gesündigt und auf die Stimme des HERRN nicht gehört und in seinem Gesetz und in seinen Ordnungen und in seinen Zeugnissen nicht gelebt habt^[11], darum ist euch dieses Unheil widerfahren, wie es an diesem Tag ist. – 24 Und Jeremia sagte zum ganzen Volk und zu allen Frauen: Hört das Wort des HERRN, alle Judäer^[12], die ihr im Land Ägypten seid! 25 So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ihr und eure Frauen, ihr habt es mit eurem Mund geredet und es mit euren Händen ausgeführt und gesagt: Wir wollen unsere Gelübde bestimmt erfüllen, die wir gelobt haben, der Königin des Himmels Rauchopfer darzubringen und ihr Trankopfer zu spenden. So haltet nun eure Gelübde und erfüllt nur eure Gelübde! (Jer 44,16) 26 Darum hört das Wort des HERRN, alle Judäer^[13], die ihr im Land Ägypten wohnt! Siehe, ich habe bei meinem großen Namen geschworen, spricht der HERR: Wenn im ganzen Land Ägypten jemals wieder mein Name im Mund irgendeines Mannes von Juda genannt wird, dass er ⟨etwa⟩ sagt: »So wahr der Herr, HERR, lebt!«^[14] (Jer 22,5; Jer 44,11; Jer 49,13; Jer 51,14)

27 Siehe, ich wache über sie zum Bösen und nicht zum Guten. Und alle Männer von Juda, die im Land Ägypten sind, sollen durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger aufgerieben werden, bis sie vernichtet sind. (Jer 9,15; Jer 21,10; Dan 9,14) 28 Doch dem Schwert Entkommene werden aus dem Land Ägypten in das Land Juda zurückkehren, ein geringes Häuflein^[15]. Und der ganze Rest von Juda, die, die ins Land Ägypten gekommen sind, um sich dort als Fremde aufzuhalten, werden erkennen, welches Wort sich bestätigen wird, meines oder ihres. (Jes 10,22; Jer 44,14) 29 Und dies sei euch das Zeichen, spricht der HERR^[16], dass ich euch an diesem Ort heimsuchen werde, damit ihr erkennt, dass meine Worte über euch^[17] sich ganz gewiss bestätigen werden zum Unheil – 30 so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich gebe den Pharao Hofra, den König von Ägypten, in die Hand seiner Feinde und in die Hand derer, die nach seinem Leben trachten, ebenso wie ich Zedekia, den König von Juda, in die Hand seines Feindes Nebukadnezar gegeben habe, des Königs von Babel, der nach seinem Leben trachtete. 1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein, 3 Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers. 4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them , saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. 5 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. 6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day. 7 Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain; 8 In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
