Zweites Lied: Der Knecht Gottes bringt Heil für alle
1Hört auf mich, ihr Inseln, und horcht auf, ihr Völkerschaften, ⟨die ihr⟩ von fern her ⟨seid⟩! Der HERR hat mich berufen vom Mutterleib an, hat von meiner Mutter Schoß an meinen Namen genannt. (Jes 41,1; Lk 1,31)2Er hat meinen Mund wie ein scharfes Schwert gemacht, hält mich versteckt im Schatten seiner Hand. Und er hat mich zu einem geschärften Pfeil gemacht, hat mich verborgen in seinem Köcher. (Jes 51,16; Hebr 4,12; Offb 1,16)3Und er sprach zu mir: Mein Knecht bist du, Israel, an dem[1] ich mich verherrlichen werde. – (Jes 41,8; Jes 42,1; Jes 44,23)4Ich aber sagte: Umsonst habe ich mich abgemüht, vergeblich und für nichts meine Kraft verbraucht. Doch mein Recht ist bei dem HERRN und mein Lohn bei meinem Gott. – (1Kön 19,10; Jes 53,10; Mt 23,37; Phil 2,16)5Und nun spricht der HERR, der mich von Mutterleib an für sich zum Knecht gebildet hat, um Jakob zu ihm zurückzubringen und damit Israel zu ihm[2] gesammelt werde – und ich bin geehrt in den Augen des HERRN, und mein Gott ist meine Stärke geworden –, (Jes 12,2; Lk 1,31; Joh 8,50; 2Petr 1,17)6ja, er spricht: Es ist zu wenig, dass du mein Knecht bist, um die Stämme Jakobs aufzurichten und die Bewahrten Israels zurückzubringen. So mache ich dich ⟨auch⟩ zum Licht der Nationen, ⟨dass⟩ meine Rettung reicht bis an die Enden der Erde[3]. (Jes 42,6; Jes 56,8; Mi 5,3; Apg 4,12; Apg 13,47; 1Tim 3,16)
Gott stellt Zion wieder her
7So spricht der HERR, der Erlöser Israels, sein Heiliger, zu dem ganz und gar[4] Verachteten, zu dem Verabscheuten der Nation[5], zu dem Knecht der Herrscher: Könige werden es sehen und aufstehen, ⟨auch⟩ Oberste, und sie werden sich niederwerfen um des HERRN willen, der treu ist, ⟨um⟩ des Heiligen Israels ⟨willen⟩, der dich erwählt hat. (Ps 22,7; Ps 72,11; Jes 48,17; Jes 52,15; Jes 53,3; Mt 26,67)8So spricht der HERR: Zur Zeit des Wohlgefallens habe ich dich erhört, und am Tag der Rettung habe ich dir geholfen. Und ich werde dich behüten und dich zum Bund des Volkes machen, das Land aufzurichten, die verödeten Erbteile auszuteilen, (Jes 42,6; Jes 61,2; Jes 61,4; 2Kor 6,2)9den Gefangenen zu sagen: Geht hinaus!, ⟨und⟩ zu denen, die in Finsternis sind: Kommt ans Licht[6]! Sie werden an den Wegen weiden, und auf allen kahlen Höhen wird ihre Weide sein. (Jes 42,7; Hes 34,13; Sach 9,11; Lk 4,18; Joh 10,9)10Sie werden nicht hungern und nicht dürsten, und weder Wüstenglut[7] noch Sonne wird sie treffen. Denn ihr Erbarmer wird sie leiten und wird sie zu Wasserquellen führen. (Ps 121,6; Jer 31,9; Offb 7,16)11Alle meine Berge will ich zum Weg machen, und meine Straßen werden hoch dahinführen. Deine Mauern sind beständig vor mir.17Deine Erbauer[9] eilen herbei, deine Zerstörer und deine Verwüster ziehen aus dir fort. (Jes 60,4)18Erhebe ringsum deine Augen und sieh: Sie alle versammeln sich, kommen zu dir! So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR[10], ja, du wirst sie alle wie ein Schmuck⟨stück⟩ anlegen und dich mit ihnen gürten wie eine Braut. (Jes 60,4)19Denn deine Trümmerstätten, deine verödeten Orte und dein zerstörtes Land – ja, nun wird es dir[11] zu eng werden vor ⟨Menge an⟩ Bewohnern; und die dich verschlangen, werden fernbleiben. (Jes 54,3; Sach 2,8; Sach 10,10)20Die Kinder deiner Kinderlosigkeit[12] werden noch vor deinen Ohren sagen: Der Raum ist mir zu eng. Mach mir Platz, dass ich wohnen kann! (Jes 54,1)21Da wirst du in deinem Herzen sagen: Wer hat mir diese geboren? Ich war doch der Kinder beraubt und unfruchtbar, in der Verbannung und abtrünnig[13]! Und diese, wer hat sie großgezogen? Siehe, ich war ja allein übrig geblieben; diese ⟨also⟩, wo waren sie? (Kla 1,1)22So spricht der Herr, HERR: Siehe, ich werde meine Hand zu den Nationen hin erheben und zu den Völkern hin mein Feldzeichen aufrichten. Und sie werden deine Söhne auf den Armen[14] bringen, und deine Töchter werden auf der Schulter getragen werden. (Jes 14,2; Jes 66,20)23Und Könige werden deine Betreuer sein und ihre Fürstinnen deine Ammen. Sie werden sich vor dir niederwerfen mit dem Gesicht zur Erde und den Staub deiner Füße lecken. Da wirst du erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin; die auf mich hoffen, werden nicht beschämt werden. (2Mo 6,7; Ps 25,3; Ps 72,9; Jes 50,7; Jes 60,11; Jes 60,14; Offb 3,9)24Kann man einem Helden die Beute nehmen, oder kann der Gefangene eines Gewaltigen[15] entkommen?25Ja, so spricht der HERR: Auch der Gefangene des Helden wird ⟨ihm⟩ genommen, und die Beute des Gewaltigen wird entkommen. Wer dich angreift, den werde ich angreifen[16]; und deine Söhne werde ich retten. (Jes 41,11; Jes 51,14; Jer 31,11; Mt 12,29; Lk 1,71)26Ich werde deine Unterdrücker speisen mit ihrem eigenen Fleisch, und von ihrem Blut sollen sie trunken werden wie von Most. Le retour en grâce de Sion
14Cependant, Sion dit: ╵« L’Eternel m’a abandonnée, oui, le Seigneur m’a oubliée. »15Une femme oublie-t-elle ╵l’enfant qu’elle nourrit? Cesse-t-elle d’aimer ╵l’enfant qu’elle a conçu? Et même si les mères ╵oubliaient leurs enfants, je ne t’oublierai pas!16Voici, je t’ai gravée ╵dans le creux de mes mains, je pense constamment ╵à tes remparts.17Déjà tes fils[7] accourent, ceux qui te détruisaient ╵et qui te ravageaient s’en iront loin de toi.18Porte les yeux autour de toi, ╵regarde: ils se rassemblent tous, et ils viennent vers toi. Aussi vrai que je suis vivant, déclare l’Eternel, tu t’en revêtiras ╵comme d’une parure, et tu te les attacheras ╵comme la mariée sa ceinture.19Car ton pays en ruine, dévasté, désolé, deviendra trop étroit ╵pour tous tes habitants; ceux qui te dévoraient ╵auront fui loin de toi.20Tu entendras tes fils ╵dont tu étais privée te répéter: « Ce lieu est trop étroit pour nous. Fais-nous donc de la place, pour que nous puissions habiter ici! »21Alors tu te demanderas: « Qui donc a mis, pour moi, ╵tous ces enfants au monde? J’étais privée d’enfants, ╵stérile, et bannie en exil. Qui donc a élevé ceux-ci? J’étais demeurée seule: ceux-là, d’où viennent-ils? »22Voici ce que déclare ╵le Seigneur, l’Eternel: Je ferai signe de la main ╵aux nations étrangères, je dresserai mon étendard ╵en direction des peuples, ils amèneront tes fils dans leurs bras, ils chargeront tes filles ╵sur leurs épaules.23Des rois s’occuperont de toi ╵comme s’ils étaient tes parents, et leurs princesses ╵seront tes mères nourricières. Ils se prosterneront ╵devant toi jusqu’à terre et ils lécheront la poussière ╵attachée à tes pieds. Et tu sauras alors ╵que je suis l’Eternel et qu’on n’est pas déçu ╵quand on compte sur moi.24Pourrait-on enlever ╵ce qu’a pris le guerrier? Les captifs du tyran[8] ╵seront-ils délivrés?25Voici ce que dit l’Eternel: Les captifs du guerrier ╵lui seront enlevés, et la proie du tyran ╵va être délivrée. Je ferai un procès moi-même ╵à ceux qui t’ont fait un procès et je délivrerai ╵moi-même tes enfants.26J’amènerai tes oppresseurs ╵à s’entredéchirer. Et ils s’enivreront ╵du sang les uns des autres ╵comme de vin nouveau; alors tout le monde saura que je suis l’Eternel ╵que c’est moi qui te sauve, que je suis ton libérateur ╵le Puissant de Jacob.
