Zukünftiges Gericht über die Feinde Israels, besonders über Edom
1Tretet heran, ihr Nationen, um zu hören! Und ihr Völkerschaften, hört aufmerksam zu! Es höre die Erde und was sie erfüllt, der Erdkreis und alles, was ihm entsprosst! (Ps 49,2)2Denn der HERR hat einen Zorn auf alle Nationen, und ⟨sein⟩ Grimm ⟨richtet sich⟩ auf ihr ganzes Heer. Er hat an ihnen den Bann vollstreckt, sie zur Schlachtung dahingegeben. (Jos 11,20; Jes 66,16; Jer 25,15; Jer 25,31; Hes 36,5; Zef 3,8)3Und ihre Erschlagenen werden hingeworfen, und der Gestank ihrer Leichen steigt auf, und die Berge zerfließen von ihrem Blut. (Hes 32,4; Nah 3,3)4Und alles Heer des Himmels zergeht[1]. Und der Himmel wird zusammengerollt wie eine Buchrolle. Und sein gesamtes Heer verwelkt, wie das Laub am Weinstock verwelkt und wie Welkes am Feigenbaum. (Jes 14,12; Jes 21,11; Hes 25,12; Hes 35,1; Am 1,11; Ob 1,1; Mt 24,29; Offb 6,14)5Denn trunken ist im Himmel mein Schwert. Siehe, auf Edom fährt es herab und auf das Volk meines Bannes[2] zum Gericht. Denn ein Schlachtopfer hält der HERR in Bozra und ein großes Schlachten im Land Edom. (Jer 46,10; Zef 1,7)7Da stürzen Büffel mit ihnen hin und Stiere samt den starken ⟨Stieren⟩. Und ihr Land wird trunken von Blut, und ihr Boden trieft von Fett. (Jer 50,27; Hes 39,18)8Denn einen Tag der Rache hat der HERR, ein Jahr der Vergeltungen für die Rechtssache Zions. (Jes 13,6; Jes 35,4; Joe 4,2)9Und Edoms Bäche[3] verwandeln sich in Pech und sein Boden in Schwefel; und sein Land wird zu brennendem Pech.10Tag und Nacht erlischt es nicht, ewig steigt sein Rauch empor. Von Generation zu Generation liegt es in Trümmern, für immer und ewig zieht niemand hindurch. (Jer 49,18; Offb 14,11)11Wüstenkauz und Igel nehmen es in Besitz, Eule und Rabe wohnen darin. Und er spannt darüber die Messschnur der Öde und das Senkblei der Leere. (2Kön 21,13; Jes 14,23; Zef 2,14)12[4] Seine Edlen[5] – keine sind da, die das Königtum ausrufen; und alle seine Obersten nehmen ein Ende.13Und in seinen Palästen gehen Dornen auf, Nesseln und Disteln in seinen befestigten Städten. Und es wird zur Wohnstätte der Schakale, zur Siedlung[6] für Strauße. (Jes 13,21; Jes 32,13; Jer 49,33; Jer 51,37; Mal 1,3)14Da treffen Wüstentiere mit wilden Hunden zusammen, und Bocksdämonen[7] begegnen einander. Ja, dort rastet die Lilit[8] und findet einen Ruheplatz für sich. (Jes 13,21; Jer 49,33; Jer 51,37; Mal 1,3)15Dort nistet die Pfeilschlange und legt ihre Eier[9] und brütet und spaltet sie[10]. Ja, dort versammeln sich die Geier, einer zum andern. –16Forscht im Buch des HERRN nach und lest! Es fehlt nicht eins von diesen, keins vermisst das andere. Denn der Mund des HERRN[11], er hat es befohlen; und sein Geist, er hat sie zusammengebracht. (Jes 21,17; Jes 40,5; Sach 4,6)17Und er selbst hat ihnen das Los geworfen, und seine Hand hat es[12] ihnen mit der Messschnur zugeteilt. Ewig werden sie es besitzen, von Generation zu Generation darin wohnen. (5Mo 32,9; Joe 4,20)

La chouette nocturne ╵viendra s’y reposer car elle y trouvera ╵un endroit bien tranquille.15Le serpent y fera son nid ╵et y pondra ses œufs, il les y couvera ╵et les fera éclore sous son ombre. Là, les vautours ╵se rassembleront tous, chacun avec son compagnon.
Le nouvel exode
16Consultez et lisez le livre ╵de l’Eternel: aucun des membres de son peuple, ╵ne manquera, aucun d’eux n’aura à chercher[5] ╵en vain son compagnon, car l’Eternel, ╵de sa bouche, en a donné l’ordre, c’est son Esprit ╵qui les a rassemblées.17Il a lui-même ╵tiré au sort ╵pour assigner ╵à chacun d’eux son lot, il leur a partagé ╵le pays au cordeau: ils l’auront en partage ╵à tout jamais, ils y habiteront toujours.
