1Und ich sah in[1] der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Thron saß[2], ein Buch, innen und auf der Rückseite beschrieben, mit sieben Siegeln versiegelt[3]. (Jes 29,11; Hes 2,9; Dan 12,4)2Und ich sah einen starken Engel, der mit lauter Stimme ausrief: Wer ist würdig, das Buch zu öffnen und seine Siegel zu lösen? (Ps 103,20; Offb 10,1; Offb 18,1)3Und niemand in dem Himmel, auch nicht auf der Erde, auch nicht unter der Erde konnte das Buch öffnen noch es anblicken[4].4Und ich weinte sehr, weil niemand ⟨für⟩ würdig befunden wurde, das Buch zu öffnen noch es anzublicken[5].5Und einer von den Ältesten spricht zu mir: Weine nicht! Siehe, es hat überwunden der Löwe aus dem Stamm Juda, die Wurzel Davids, um das Buch und seine sieben Siegel zu öffnen. (1Mo 49,9; Jes 11,1; Röm 15,12; Hebr 7,14; Offb 22,16)
Das Lamm ist würdig, die Siegel zu öffnen
6Und ich sah inmitten des Thrones und der vier lebendigen Wesen und inmitten der Ältesten ein Lamm stehen wie geschlachtet, das sieben Hörner und sieben Augen hatte; dies sind die sieben Geister Gottes, ausgesandt über die ganze Erde. (Joh 1,29; 1Kor 5,7; Offb 1,4; Offb 14,1)7Und es kam und nahm ⟨das Buch⟩ aus der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Thron saß.8Und als es das Buch nahm, fielen die vier lebendigen Wesen und die vierundzwanzig Ältesten nieder vor dem Lamm, und sie hatten ein jeder eine Harfe und goldene Schalen voller Räucherwerk; das sind die Gebete der Heiligen. Il libro dei sette sigilli. Solo l’Agnello è degno di aprirlo
1Vidi nella destra di colui che sedeva sul trono un libro scritto di dentro e di fuori, sigillato con sette sigilli[1].2E vidi un angelo potente che gridava a gran voce: «Chi è degno di aprire il libro e di sciogliere i sigilli?»3Ma nessuno, né in cielo, né sulla terra, né sotto la terra, poteva aprire il libro, né guardarlo.4Io piangevo molto perché non si era trovato nessuno che fosse degno di aprire il libro e di guardarlo.5Ma uno degli anziani mi disse: «Non piangere; ecco, il leone della tribù di Giuda, la radice di Davide, ha vinto per aprire il libro e i suoi sette sigilli».6Poi vidi, in mezzo al trono e alle quattro creature viventi e in mezzo agli anziani, un Agnello in piedi, come immolato, e aveva sette corna e sette occhi, che sono i {sette} spiriti di Dio, mandati per tutta la terra.7Egli venne e prese il libro dalla destra di colui che sedeva sul trono.8Quando ebbe preso il libro, le quattro creature viventi e i ventiquattro anziani si prostrarono davanti all’Agnello, ciascuno con una cetra e delle coppe d’oro piene di profumi, che sono le preghiere dei santi[2].9Essi cantavano un cantico nuovo, dicendo: «Tu sei degno di prendere il libro e di aprirne i sigilli, perché sei stato immolato e hai acquistato a Dio, con il tuo sangue, gente di ogni tribù, lingua, popolo e nazione,10e ne hai fatto per il nostro Dio un regno e dei sacerdoti; e regneranno sulla terra».11E vidi, e udii la voce di molti angeli intorno al trono, alle creature viventi e agli anziani; e il loro numero era di miriadi di miriadi e di migliaia di migliaia.12Essi dicevano a gran voce: «Degno è l’Agnello, che è stato immolato, di ricevere la potenza, le ricchezze, la sapienza, la forza, l’onore, la gloria e la lode».13E tutte le creature che sono nel cielo, sulla terra, sotto la terra e nel mare, e tutte le cose che sono in essi, udii che dicevano: «A colui che siede sul trono, e all’Agnello, siano la lode, l’onore, la gloria e la potenza, nei secoli dei secoli».14Le quattro creature viventi dicevano: «Amen!» E gli anziani si prostrarono e adorarono.
