Offenbarung 4

Elberfelder Bibel

Offenbarung 4

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” (2Mo 19,19; Offb 1,1; Offb 1,10; Offb 1,19; Offb 11,12; Offb 22,6)2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. (1Kön 22,19; Ps 11,4; Ps 103,19; Jes 66,1; Mt 5,34; Mt 23,22; Offb 1,10)3 And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. (1Mo 9,13; Hes 1,28; Offb 10,1; Offb 21,11)4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. (Jak 1,12; Offb 3,4; Offb 4,10; Offb 11,16)5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings[1] and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, (2Mo 19,16; Sach 4,2; Offb 1,4; Offb 8,5; Offb 11,19; Offb 16,18)6 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: (Ps 77,19; Hes 1,5; Hes 10,12; Offb 15,2; Offb 21,18; Offb 21,21)7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. (Hes 1,10; Hes 10,14)8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (Jes 6,2; Jes 6,3; Offb 1,4; Offb 4,6; Offb 14,11)9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, (Dan 4,34; Dan 12,7; Offb 1,18; Offb 5,13; Offb 15,7)10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (Offb 4,4; Offb 5,8; Offb 5,14; Offb 7,11; Offb 11,16; Offb 19,4)11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” (1Mo 1,1; Ps 33,9; Apg 14,15; Eph 1,11; Offb 5,12; Offb 10,6; Offb 14,7)

Offenbarung 4

King James Version

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Offenbarung 4

Nuova Riveduta 2006
