1A Shiggaion[1] of David, which he sang to the Lord concerning the words of Cush, a Benjaminite. O Lord my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me, (诗11:1; 诗31:15; 哈3:1)2lest like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver. (伯10:16; 诗50:22)3O Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands, (撒上24:11; 撒上26:18; 撒下16:7; 诗59:3)4if I have repaid my friend[2] with evil or plundered my enemy without cause, (撒上24:7; 撒上26:9; 诗55:20)5let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it, and let him trample my life to the ground and lay my glory in the dust. (诗89:39; 但8:7)6Arise, O Lord, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake for me; you have appointed a judgment. (伯8:6; 诗3:7; 诗35:23; 诗44:23; 诗59:4; 诗94:2; 赛33:10)7Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you; over it return on high.8The Lord judges the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me. (诗18:20; 诗26:1; 诗35:24; 诗43:1; 诗58:11)9Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous— you who test the minds and hearts,[3] O righteous God! (撒上16:7; 代上28:9; 伯23:10; 诗11:5; 诗26:2; 诗139:1; 耶11:20; 耶17:10; 耶20:12; 启2:23)10My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart. (代下29:34; 诗62:8)11God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day. (伯8:3; 鸿1:2; 鸿1:6)12If a man[4] does not repent, God[5] will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow; (申32:41; 诗11:2; 诗21:12; 诗37:14)13he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts. (诗18:14; 弗6:16)14Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies. (伯15:35; 赛33:11; 赛59:4; 雅1:15)15He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made. (诗9:15; 诗57:6; 诗119:85; 箴26:27; 箴28:10; 传10:8)16His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends. (士9:24; 王上2:32; 斯7:10; 斯9:25; 诗94:23; 诗141:10; 箴5:22)17I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High. (诗9:2)
