1Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant,[1] and a song of praise is fitting. (诗33:1; 诗92:1; 诗135:1; 诗135:3)2The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel. (申30:3; 诗51:18; 诗102:16; 赛11:12; 赛27:13; 赛56:8; 结39:28)3He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (诗34:18; 结34:16)4He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. (创15:5; 赛40:26)5Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure. (伯5:9; 诗48:1; 赛40:28; 鸿1:3)6The Lord lifts up the humble;[2] he casts the wicked to the ground. (诗146:8)7Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre! (出15:21; 代上15:16; 诗95:1)8He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills. (伯5:10; 伯38:27; 诗104:14)9He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry. (伯38:41; 诗104:27)10His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, (诗33:17)11but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. (诗33:18; 诗149:4)12Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!13For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you. (尼7:3)14He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat. (出34:24; 申32:14; 诗81:16; 诗132:15; 箴16:7; 赛60:17)15He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. (诗148:8)16He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. (伯37:6; 伯38:29)17He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? (伯37:9; 伯37:10)18He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow. (伯37:12; 诗33:9; 诗107:20; 诗147:15)19He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and rules[3] to Israel. (申33:2; 诗78:5; 玛4:4)20He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules.[4] Praise the Lord! (申4:7; 申4:32; 诗135:1)
