1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! (诗135:1) 2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (诗63:4; 诗104:33; 诗145:2) 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. (诗60:11; 诗108:12; 诗118:8; 诗118:9; 赛2:22; 耶17:5) 4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. (诗104:29; 传12:7) 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, (诗2:12; 诗119:116; 诗144:15) 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; (诗100:5; 诗115:15; 诗117:2) 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; (诗68:6; 诗103:6; 诗105:20; 诗107:9; 诗145:15; 赛61:1) 8 the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.
