POJĎTE, ZAPLESEJME HOSPODINU

1  Pojďte, zaplesejme Hospodinu, oslavujme hlaholem skálu své spásy,  

2  vstupme před jeho tvář s díkůvzdáním, oslavujme ho hlaholem žalmů!  

3  Hospodin je velký Bůh, je velký Král nad všemi bohy.  

4  On má v svých rukou hlubiny země, temena hor patří jemu.  

5  Jeho je moře, on sám je učinil, souš vytvořily jeho ruce.  

6  Přistupte, klaňme se, klekněme, skloňme kolena před Hospodinem, který nás učinil.  

7  On je náš Bůh, my lid, jejž on pase, ovce, jež vodí svou rukou. Uslyšíte-li dnes jeho hlas,  

8  nezatvrzujte svá srdce jako při sváru v Meribě, jako v den pokušení na poušti v Masse,  

9  kde mě vaši otcové pokoušeli, kde mě chtěli zkoušet, i když viděli mé činy.  

10  Po čtyřicet let mi bylo na obtíž to pokolení. Řekl jsem si: Je to lid bloudící srdcem, k mým cestám se nezná.  

11  Proto jsem se v hněvu zapřisáhl: Nevejdou do mého odpočinutí!

Let Us Sing Songs of Praise

1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Ž 66,1; Ž 89,26; Ž 94,22) 

2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Ž 95,1; Mi 6,6) 

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (2Pa 2,5; Ž 86,8; Ž 93,4; Ž 96,4; Ž 97,9; Ž 135,5) 

4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 

5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. (Gn 1,9; Jon 1,9) 

6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! (Dt 32,6; Dt 32,15; Dt 32,18; 2Pa 6,13; Ž 100,3; Ž 149,2; Da 6,10)
