1 我的上帝啊， 求你救我脫離仇敵， 保護我免遭其害。 2 求你救我脫離作惡之徒， 脫離嗜血成性之人。 3 看啊，他們要暗害我。 耶和華啊，我並未犯罪作惡， 兇殘的人卻攻擊我。 4 我沒有過錯， 他們卻準備攻擊我。 求你起來幫助我， 顧念我的困境。 5 萬軍之耶和華，以色列的上帝啊， 求你起來懲罰列國， 不要姑息奸詐的惡人。（細拉） 6 他們夜晚回來， 嚎叫如狗，在城中遊蕩。 7 他們出口傷人，舌如利劍， 還說：「誰聽得見？」 8 但你耶和華必嗤笑他們， 嘲諷列國。 9 上帝啊， 你是我的力量，我的堡壘， 我仰望你。 10 我的上帝愛我， 祂會幫助我， 讓我欣然看見仇敵遭報。 11 保護我們的主啊， 求你不要殺掉他們， 免得我的百姓忘記教訓。 求你用你的能力驅散他們， 使他們淪為卑賤。 12 他們的嘴巴充滿罪惡， 口中盡是咒詛和謊言， 願他們陷在狂傲中不能自拔。 13 求你發烈怒毀滅他們， 徹底剷除他們， 使普天下都知道上帝在雅各家掌權。（細拉） 14 他們夜晚回來， 嚎叫如狗，在城中遊蕩， 15 四處覓食， 吃不飽就狂吠不止。 16 但我要歌頌你的能力， 在清晨頌揚你的慈愛， 因為你是我的堡壘， 是我患難時的避難所。 17 上帝啊，你是我的力量， 我要頌讚你， 你是我的堡壘， 是愛我的上帝。

1 To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Miktam[1] of David, when Saul sent men to watch his house in order to kill him. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; protect me from those who rise up against me; (撒上19:11; 诗16:1; 诗17:7; 诗18:48; 诗20:1; 诗57:1; 诗143:9) 2 deliver me from those who work evil, and save me from bloodthirsty men. (诗5:6; 诗94:4) 3 For behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce men stir up strife against me. For no transgression or sin of mine, O Lord, (撒上24:11; 诗7:3; 诗10:9; 诗56:6; 诗69:4) 4 for no fault of mine, they run and make ready. Awake, come to meet me, and see! (诗35:23) 5 You, Lord God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. (诗80:4; 诗84:8) 6 Each evening they come back, howling like dogs and prowling about the city. (诗22:16) 7 There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for “Who,” they think,[2] “will hear us?” (伯22:13; 诗57:4; 诗94:4; 箴15:2; 箴15:28) 8 But you, O Lord, laugh at them; you hold all the nations in derision. (诗2:4) 9 O my Strength, I will watch for you, for you, O God, are my fortress. (诗9:9; 诗59:16) 10 My God in his steadfast love[3] will meet me; God will let me look in triumph on my enemies. (诗21:3; 诗54:7; 诗59:17) 11 Kill them not, lest my people forget; make them totter[4] by your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield! (诗3:3; 诗55:23) 12 For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride. For the cursing and lies that they utter, (箴12:13) 13 consume them in wrath; consume them till they are no more, that they may know that God rules over Jacob to the ends of the earth. (诗7:9; 诗22:27; 诗83:18) 14 Each evening they come back, howling like dogs and prowling about the city. (诗22:16) 15 They wander about for food and growl if they do not get their fill. (伯15:23; 诗109:10) 16 But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress. (撒下22:3; 诗18:6; 诗59:9) 17 O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love. (诗59:10; 诗59:16)
