(诗105:42; 诗105:43; 诗106:5; 诗135:4)7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. (赛26:9)8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations, (申7:9; 诗105:42; 诗106:45; 诗111:5; 路1:72)9 the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, (创17:2; 创22:15; 创26:3)10 which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, (创28:13; 创35:11)11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.” (创13:15; 创15:18; 诗78:55)12 When they were few in number, of little account, and sojourners in it, (创34:30; 申7:7; 申26:5; 來11:9)13 wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,14 he allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account, (创12:17; 创20:3; 创35:5)15 saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!” (创20:6; 创26:11)16 When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply[1] of bread, (创41:54; 利26:26; 王下8:1; 诗104:15; 赛3:1; 结4:16; 该1:11)17 he had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. (创37:28; 创37:36; 创45:5; 创50:20; 徒7:9)18 His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; (创39:20)19 until what he had said came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. (创40:20; 创41:53; 士7:4)20 The king sent and released him; the ruler of the peoples set him free; (创41:14; 诗146:7)21 he made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions, (创41:40)22 to bind[2] his princes at his pleasure and to teach his elders wisdom.23 Then Israel came to Egypt; Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. (创46:6; 诗78:51; 诗106:22; 徒7:15; 徒13:17)24 And the Lord made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes. (出1:7; 申26:5)25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants. (出1:8; 出1:10; 出9:12; 徒7:19; 羅11:8)26 He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen. (出7:21)30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings. (出8:3)31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country. (出8:16; 出8:21)32 He gave them hail for rain, and fiery lightning bolts through their land. (出9:23)33 He struck down their vines and fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country. (出9:25)34 He spoke, and the locusts came, young locusts without number, (出10:12)35 which devoured all the vegetation in their land and ate up the fruit of their ground.36 He struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength. (诗78:51)37 Then he brought out Israel with silver and gold, and there was none among his tribes who stumbled. (出12:35)38 Egypt was glad when they departed, for dread of them had fallen upon it. (出12:23; 出15:16)39 He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night. (出13:21; 伯36:20; 赛4:5)40 They asked, and he brought quail, and gave them bread from heaven in abundance. (诗63:1; 诗78:15)42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham, his servant. (创15:14; 出2:24; 诗105:6; 诗105:8)43 So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing. (出15:1; 诗105:42; 赛35:10)44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil, (书24:13; 诗78:55)45 that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the Lord!
