1 你要知道，末世必有艰难的日子， 2 因为那时的人都自私自利、贪爱钱财、狂妄自夸、骄傲自负、说毁谤话、违背父母、忘恩负义、心不圣洁、 3 冷漠无情、不愿和解、好说谗言、毫无节制、蛮横凶暴、不爱良善、 4 出卖朋友、任意妄为、自高自大、沉溺享乐、不爱上帝， 5 虚有敬虔的外表，却无敬虔的实质。你要避开这样的人。 6 这些人溜进别人家里，哄骗那些意志薄弱的妇女。那些妇女心中充满罪恶，受各种邪情私欲的驱使， 7 虽然常常学习，却不能明白真理。 8 现在这些人敌对真理，就像从前雅尼和佯庇反对摩西一样，他们的心思坏透了，他们的信仰是虚假的。 9 不过，他们猖狂不了多久，因为他们的愚昧行径必暴露在众人面前，就像雅尼和佯庇的下场一样。 10 但你熟知我的教导、言行、志向、信心、忍耐、爱心、毅力， 11 也知道我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得遭遇了何等的迫害和苦难。但主从这一切患难中救了我。 12 其实凡立志在基督耶稣里过敬虔生活的人都会受到迫害。 13 而恶人和骗子会变本加厉地迷惑人，也被人迷惑。 14 但你要把自己所学的、所笃信的记在心里，因为你知道是跟谁学的， 15 并且你从小就熟悉圣经。圣经能给你智慧，使你借着信基督耶稣得到拯救。 16 圣经全部是上帝启示的，有益于教导、督责、使人归正、培养人行义， 17 使属上帝的人得到充分的装备，去行各种善事。

1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. (提前4:1) 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, (路16:14; 羅1:30; 腓2:21; 提前6:10) 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, (羅1:31; 多1:8) 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (腓3:19; 提前3:6; 提前6:4) 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. (提前5:8; 提前6:20; 多1:14) 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, (多1:11) 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. (提前2:4) 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. (出7:11; 徒13:8; 提前6:5; 多1:16) 9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. (出7:12; 出8:18; 出9:11) 10 You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, (腓2:22) 11 my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me. (诗34:19; 徒13:14; 徒13:45; 徒13:50; 徒14:1; 徒14:5; 徒14:6; 徒14:19; 林后1:10; 提后4:17) 12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, (徒14:22; 多2:12) 13 while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (多3:3; 启22:11) 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom[1] you learned it (提前4:6) 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. (诗119:99; 约5:39; 弗6:4; 提后1:5) 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (羅15:4; 彼后1:20) 17 that the man of God[2] may be complete, equipped for every good work. (路6:40; 提前6:11; 提后2:21)
