1 Te damos gracias a ti, ’Elohim, te damos gracias, Porque tu Nombre está cercano; Ellos cuentan tus maravillas. 

2 Al tiempo que Yo señale, Yo, por mí mismo, juzgaré con equidad. 

3 Cuando se derrita la tierra y todos sus habitantes, Yo mismo sustentaré sus columnas. Selah 

4 Digo a los soberbios: No os ensoberbezcáis; Y a los malvados: No alcéis vuestra frente, 

5 Ni levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno, Ni habléis con erguida cerviz. 

6 Porque ni del oriente ni del occidente, Ni del desierto viene el enaltecimiento, 

7 Sino que ’Elohim es el Juez, Y a éste humilla y a aquél enaltece. 

8 Hay un cáliz en la mano de YHVH, Y el vino fermenta lleno de mixtura. Él lo derramará, y tendrá que ser sorbido hasta sus sedimentos: ¡Todos los malvados de la tierra lo beberán! 

9 Pero yo lo anunciaré por siempre, Entonaré salmos al Dios de Jacob. 

10 Quebrantaré el cuerno de los malvados, Y el cuerno de los justos será exaltado.

God Will Judge with Equity

To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song.

1 We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. (Sal 145:18) 

2 “At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity. (Sal 17:2; Sal 102:13; Dn 8:19; Hab 2:3) 

3 When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah (1 S 2:8; Is 24:19) 

4 I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; (Sal 75:10; Zac 1:21) 

5 do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’” 

6 For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, (Sal 3:3) 

7 but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. (1 S 2:7; Sal 50:6; Dn 2:21) 

8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. (Job 21:20; Sal 11:6; Sal 73:10; Pr 23:30) 

9 But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 

10 All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. (1 S 2:1; Sal 75:4; Sal 89:17; Sal 112:9; Jer 48:25)
