1 Guárdame, oh ’El, porque en ti me he refugiado. 2 Dije a YHVH: Tú eres mi Señor, No hay para mí bien fuera de ti. 3 Para los santos y para los íntegros que están en la tierra, Es toda mi complacencia. 4 Multiplicarán sus dolores quienes corren tras dioses extraños; No derramaré sus libaciones de sangre, Ni en mis labios tomaré sus nombres. 5 YHVH es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa. Tú sustentas mi suerte. 6 Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos, Y es hermosa la heredad que me ha tocado. 7 Bendeciré a YHVH que me aconseja, Aun en las noches me corrigen mis riñones. 8 A YHVH he puesto siempre delante de mí, Porque está a mi diestra, no seré conmovido. 9 Por lo que se alegró mi corazón, y se regocijó mi gloria. Mi carne reposará también confiadamente, 10 Porque no dejarás mi alma en el Seol, Ni permitirás que tu santo vea corrupción. 11 Me mostrarás la senda de la vida, En tu presencia hay plenitud de gozo, Delicias a tu diestra para siempre.

1 A Miktam[1] of David. Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. (Sal 11:1; Sal 56:1; Sal 57:1; Sal 60:1) 2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” (Sal 73:25) 3 As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.[2] (Ex 19:6; Dt 7:6; 1 P 2:9) 4 The sorrows of those who run after[3] another god shall multiply; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names on my lips. (Ex 23:13; Jos 23:7) 5 The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. (Nm 18:20; Dt 32:9; Sal 23:5; Sal 73:26; Sal 116:13; Sal 119:57; Sal 125:3; Sal 142:5; Jer 10:16; Jer 51:19; Lm 3:24) 6 The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
