1 En YHVH me he refugiado, ¿Cómo decís a mi alma, Que escape al monte cual ave? 

2 Pues he aquí los malvados tensan el arco, Preparan su saeta en la cuerda, Para asaetear en la oscuridad a los de corazón recto. 

3 Si fueran destruidos los fundamentos, ¿Qué ha de hacer el justo? 

4 YHVH está en su santo templo, YHVH tiene en los cielos su trono. Sus ojos observan, Sus párpados examinan a los hijos del hombre. 

5 YHVH prueba al justo, Pero su alma aborrece al malvado, Y al que ama la violencia. 

6 Hará llover ascuas sobre los malvados, Fuego y azufre y viento abrasador, Tal será la porción de la copa de ellos, 

7 Porque YHVH es justo y ama la justicia. Los rectos contemplarán su rostro.

The Lord Is in His Holy Temple

To the choirmaster. Of David.

1 In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your mountain, (1 S 23:14; 1 S 23:19; 1 S 24:2; 1 S 26:19; 1 S 26:20) 

2 for behold, the wicked bend the bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart; (Sal 7:10; Sal 7:12; Sal 21:12; Sal 58:7; Sal 64:4; Jer 9:3) 

3 if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Sal 82:5; Ez 30:4) 

4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man. (Job 23:10; Sal 2:4; Sal 18:6; Is 66:1; Miq 1:2; Hab 2:20; Mt 5:34; Mt 23:22; Hch 7:49) 

5 The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence. (Gn 22:1; Sal 5:5; Stg 1:12) 

6 Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. (Gn 19:24; Job 18:15; Job 21:20; Sal 75:8; Ez 38:22) 

7 For the LORD is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face. (Sal 17:15; Sal 33:5; Sal 140:13; 1 Jn 3:2; Ap 22:4)
