1 ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos, Ni se detuvo en camino de pecadores, Ni en silla de escarnecedores se ha sentado! 

2 Sino que en la Ley de YHVH está su delicia, Y en su Ley medita de día y de noche. 

3 Será como árbol plantado junto a corrientes de agua, Que da su fruto a su tiempo, y su hoja no se marchita, Y todo lo que hace prosperará. 

4 No así los malos, que son como la paja que arrebata el viento. 

5 Por lo que no se erguirán los malos en el juicio, Ni los pecadores en la asamblea de los justos, 

6 Porque YHVH conoce el camino de los justos, Pero la senda de los malos conduce a la perdición.

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (Job 21:16; Sal 26:4; Sal 107:32; Pr 1:10; Pr 1:22; Pr 3:34; Pr 4:14; Pr 4:15; Pr 19:29; Pr 21:24; Pr 29:8; Is 28:14; Jer 15:17) 

2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Jos 1:8; Sal 112:1; Sal 119:1; Sal 119:35; Sal 119:47; Sal 119:92; Sal 119:97) 

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Gn 39:3; Gn 39:23; Nm 24:6; Job 29:19; Sal 46:4; Sal 128:2; Is 3:10; Is 34:4; Jer 17:8; Ez 19:10; Ez 47:12) 

4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. (Job 21:18) 

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; (Sal 5:5; Sal 76:7; Ez 13:9; Nah 1:6; Lc 21:36; Ef 6:13) 

6 for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. (Sal 31:7; Sal 37:5; Sal 37:18; Sal 144:3; Nah 1:7; Jn 10:14; 2 Ti 2:19)
