Salme 147

Bibelen på hverdagsdansk

fra Biblica
1 Halleluja! Halleluja!

Salme 147

English Standard Version

fra Crossway
1 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant,[1] and a song of praise is fitting. (Salm 33,1; Salm 92,1; Salm 135,1; Salm 135,3)2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel. (5.Mos 30,3; Salm 51,18; Salm 102,16; Es 11,12; Es 27,13; Es 56,8; Ez 39,28)3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Salm 34,18; Ez 34,16)4 He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. (1.Mos 15,5; Es 40,26)5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure. (Job 5,9; Salm 48,1; Es 40,28; Nah 1,3)6 The Lord lifts up the humble;[2] he casts the wicked to the ground. (Salm 146,8)7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre! (2.Mos 15,21; 1.Krøn 15,16; Salm 95,1)8 He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills. (Job 5,10; Job 38,27; Salm 104,14)9 He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry. (Job 38,41; Salm 104,27)10 His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, (Salm 33,17)11 but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. (Salm 33,18; Salm 149,4)12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!13 For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you. (Neh 7,3)14 He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat. (2.Mos 34,24; 5.Mos 32,14; Salm 81,16; Salm 132,15; Ord 16,7; Es 60,17)15 He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. (Salm 148,8)16 He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. (Job 37,6; Job 38,29)17 He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? (Job 37,9; Job 37,10)18 He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow. (Job 37,12; Salm 33,9; Salm 107,20; Salm 147,15)19 He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and rules[3] to Israel. (5.Mos 33,2; Salm 78,5; Mal 4,4)20 He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules.[4] Praise the Lord! (5.Mos 4,7; 5.Mos 4,32; Salm 135,1)
